Every White Widow I've ever run has been a top producer. I cant clown on Dinafem.
Im revegging this Critical Cheese #2. Shes got a tangerine marmelade cheese funk thing going on and she carrys a proper stone as well.
Speaking of tangerine/orange sin city juice is really leaning in that direction as they mature this is the most mandarin/ tangerine thing I've ever grown 20210323_102812.jpg 20210323_102900.jpg

Cheese BX #1 by Hazeman Seeds
Cheese BX #1.jpg
Smell: "Green" smelling much like it was on the plant. Has cured out to a mellow earthy green smell. Not sweet, skunky or offensive. Not cheese either, but it isnt bad by any means. Not a very stand out smell or flavor with this pheno. To be fair I did only get this one pheno to gauge the strain so there may be some nice cheese phenos to be found in these packs, I just didnt find it in mine.

Buds/Buzz: Breaks up really nice, is super sticky, but packs a mediocre buzz at best. Its a strong intense buzz that comes on quickly & wears damn near as quick as it comes. Might be because it still looked way underdone at 63 days, but it had to come down.

Critical Cheese #1 by Dinafem
Critical Cheese #1.jpg

Smell: I can tell that there are some "cheese" notes in there, but the sweetness almost overpowers everything. A deep inhale from the jar still doesnt give up exactly what makes it so sweet. Not really fruity, or candy, etc...just sweet dank terps with very subtle notes of "fermented dairy".

Buds/Buzz: The buds are quite dense and break up suprisingly nice. Busted up much more than I needed for a joint. The heavy coating of trichomes piling up was evident while breaking up the flowers. Burned nice in a joint and taste much like it smells. The buzz is strong, but not narcotic. Good one for day smokers who still want to function.

Critical Cheese #2 by Dinafem
Critical Cheese #2.jpg

Smell: This pheno smells amazing! Super sweet tangerine marmalade with a definite cheese aroma. Smells like a cheesecake laced with weed. This one stood out among all the others on smells early on in flower and now the finished/cured buds are no exception.
This is one of those "damn..., whats this one called again" kinda strains. :joint:

Buds/Buzz: The buds are dense, but not packed. Not something I'd consider "commercial" weed in regards to weight. Breaks up nicely and rolls/smokes just as good. Flavors all the way to the roach with this one. Packs a strong buzz that seems to lean more toward the Indica side even though the leaves said Sativa. Good head and body that lasts. Shes definitely sleepy weed and great to end the day with. For all these reasons listed, she is currently getting revegged for personal smoke (and possibly future projects).

Item No. 9 #3 by Cryptic Labs
Item No. 9 #3.jpg

Smell: This pheno smells much like Cindy99 "pineapple pheno" for those who may be familiar. Heavy over ripe sweet pineapple smell. Hardly any noticeable cheese influences at all...at least until you burn it. Thats when I caught the cheese vibe and it took the smell & flavor to another level.

Buds/Buzz: The flowers break up decent. The buds look much more dense than they really are so I found myself reaching in for more to break up. The smoke was flavorful and strong still giving sweet hits well into the joint. The buzz on this one is pretty wicked. Very heady/behind the eyes kinda high that makes me sleepy. I dont try to get anything done after indulging in this one. Im about 99% useless after a fat joint of this....and Im ok with that. For these reasons Im currently revegging this one.

Wedding Cake x UK Cheese #1 by CSI Humboldt
Wedding Cake x Cheese #1.jpg

Smell: I am getting much more smell now from these cured buds than I was from the plant. Having grown out wedding cake before, she smells very cake dominant. Subtle sweet "batter" smells with hardly any cheese smells at all to comment on. Once broken down, the sweet smell fades into the background and the earthy weed terps take over.

Buds/Buzz: When smoked in a joint, the taste isnt much like the cake but more like the busted down buds with the earthy weed terps. Begins tasting and smelling like tar about half way through the joint. Though not the most flavorful weed, the buzz is very appealing. Nothing too intense or racey with this one, just a calming mellow buzz that allows you to continue through your day without feeling like a clumsy asshole.

Wedding Cake x UK Cheese #4 by CSI Humboldt
Wedding Cake x Cheese #4.jpg

Smell: This one much like pheno #1 is cake dominant. I'd actually consider this one even more of a cake leaner than the other. Much sweeter than the other pheno too. Holds the sweet smells even after breaking it up which is what I prefer.

Buds/Buzz: This pheno not only smells better than pheno #1 in my opinion, but she stacked nicer too. Heavy buds that were a breeze to trim. Smoked in a joint, it burned very smooth. You can lung the hell out of it and not choke one bit. Super smooth and potent too which can be dangerous if you still need to be productive. Find that happy medium and this can be your daily. Overindulge and its nap time after you empty the fridge.

Ok, so now that 2020 is passed and I have some new mommas and clones rooted in the veg tent I feel a little more at ease sharing what I've been up to the past few months. I've been working hard to find new mommas that I believe are worthy of breeding with and as we all know this takes time to run them all sensi etc to see what they hold.

I'll start with the Mothers Milk "open pollenation" run:
MM group - Copy.PNG
I seperated the (5) males as they were just about to start dropping pollen. The pollen was individually collected and seperated into equal parts from each plant, then mixed and applied to the (3) females in the flower tent. I think the pollen has taken well judging by all the brown pistols now present after just a few days. I'll keep the F2's from each of the 3 girls seperated in an attempt to help narrow down which traits Im chasing upon planting the F2's to hunt through for the "keeper" to replace the momma I lost last year.

As for mothers currently tested/approved ready for phase III:

-Blueberry Hashplant
-Banana OG
-Purple Power
-Critical Cheese

I've already briefly documented the others except for the "Purple Power" from Cool Creek Genetics which will be my "purp" stock for upcoming Fem projects.
She definitely earns her name:

I'm glad you're back in the zone. Kinda been wondering what up with Red, myself, since going all in on pH last year.

I like this approach more and more after going all natural on a preservation run myself.
