Sending positive energy and prayers.
It seems like he’s getting released but he’ll likely need a specialist and follow up treatment. It’s still smth serious that needs to get looked into but thankfully it wasn’t like me.Any update @spyralout ???
Thanks WillieP. This is sort of what happened to me. Right back in emergency surgery 5 months after the first. Still no root cause found, the drs are stumped. Said I’m a “complicated case”. I have a shit ton of appointments every month w various drs so I’m trying to stay on top of it. The things that have helped the most are support from family, friends, and our wonderful beloved marijuana. It’s helped my appetite and eases some of my pain but never all of it, maybe I gotta find the right strain(s).Glad that he has improved.
I hope that they are able to find the root of his issue and that it is treatable.
Sometimes it is easy to not follow through with medical treatment after you start to feel better.
Stay on his butt, and make sure he gets to the bottom of it.
Positive vibes to all.

Every nurse I’ve met including my ex’s mom said they’ve never had anyone come in and said they were too high. One of my friends is a traveling CT scanner and she said she’s never had someone that was a weed smoker mostly they were old ppl or drunks falling and hitting their heads.I strongly disagree with CHS being the “alarming “ reason why anyone if they go to the hospital for cannabis. Chs is extremely rare but also look every rx article and clinical study I looked at and such vs anti cannabis they all state such, I have also seen on same websites saying you will be lazy and also lower iq?. you can be allergic to anything but to state we are having alarming rates of such and act like without even knowing the persons issues that’s it is so blind and actually dangerous. not pushing anything down ur throat but I disagree and hope the issues the person will be solved Quickly
if it is that, well at least you know it can be resolved by removing that in ur life

How Common Is CHS?
Experts only recently discovered CHS as a medical condition. And so far, it’s known to affect only a small number of heavy marijuana users. It’s possible that many may have it but might not have gotten help or have a misdiagnosis. One study found that about 6% of people who went to an emergency room for vomiting had CHS.”

Will be continuing to pray for the young man.
Just really weird times out there in the world - my wife has had two older male clients go into the hospital w/ 'twisted bowel"....?
“Estimates “ and bs, intill i see source its from a anti drug or bs website lolThe hypothesis is easily tested:
If upon stopping use the symptoms stop, there ya go.
I entered these terms into Google:
'Cannabis Hyperemesis Syndrome statistics '
The second result is an eye opening short PDF that estimates nearly 3 million Americans may suffer from some form of it.
That's not extremely rare.
Some more food for thought:
My buddy has figured out that not only does he have this, but that black pepper will trigger it even when HE ISNT SMOKING.
Black pepper is chock full of a terpene called beta- caryophyllene, the only terpene known to bind directly to cannabinoid receptors....
