Aw shit, don’t worry about me. I am getting old problems fixed this year. I have been partying like a rock star for the past year, and keeping up with twenty-somethings, I have a fast car and and a nice 4x4, work from home and make solid money, where I also breed reptiles and grow, my karaoke game has made me a minor local star, playing guitar and bass again too, I weigh forty pounds less than I did five years ago, life is fucking good. The surgery was an unfortunate necessity to keep all that on the rails. Killin it over here, lately, to be honest.
Going through something very similar and I've never had issues with anything my entire life. Little reality slap for me. Hope the surgery went well and recovery is quick brother. Sucks getting old

It sucks to be diagnosed with things that can't be fixed, like arthritis.
All you can do is slow it down.

Kinda like aging in general...
These assholes cant even figure out what's wrong. I'm in like the health capital of the world too , Boston area . Dam shame . They just want to shuffle you in and out and get paid. Kind of makes me miss the idea of having like a family doctor. Someone that knows you and your history, family history.

Post-hernia-surgery, which was yesterday, feeling alright, by the way, hurts something like a six inch incision should, looks like shit today, left side of my nutsack is a deep shade of burgundy, some nice blues above the incision, But I am walking around and checking on the babies downstairs without much trouble.

Thanks brother. My nuts are bright purple, but I’ll be okay in a couple weeks. This is the least terrible of seven surgeries I have had. Thanks again for the kind words.

Before today "Peanut Butter with mayo" was one of the most horrific things I'd ever read on here.... bro.... hope you're... good as CAN be.

Dude what is up w all the gut surgeries lately??

Holy FACK mang. I had three emergency surgeries. One more that’s planned which I’m worried about. Cuz I made it through the other three all dead n shit. But since this one is planned it concerns me, like what if just cuz it’s planned some shit could go super bad IYKWIM.

Holy FACK again! Jeezus hell mang. Like @Caddis said it’s like an old age contest to see how fucked up we are as we age. Man I feel you. We good homie. It’s never too late to rebuild and overcome ? improvise cuz we’re champs and can pivot like that.
I reacted to that with the wrong emoji on accident last night and I apologize deeply.

We are fucking champs, you nailed it, buddy.

I have been around this scene some, most of my grow journals are over at RIU, different name, same Zappatar. This is my home now. This place is the best of what’s out there. I was sadly sort of involved with H when he ganked the Chucker’s Paradise name from Genuity, but I was not involved in that forum, ever. I dislike that guy, unambiguously, and a lot.

The people here are the exact opposite, as far as I can tell. Quality humans around here, and I like it.

Here's an issue that really doesn't get much attention:

The third-leading cause of death in US most doctors don’t want you to know about
"A recent Johns Hopkins study claims more than 250,000 people in the U.S. die every year from medical errors. Other reports claim the numbers to be as high as 440,000."
and then there's this:

New Prescription Drugs: A Major Health Risk With Few Offsetting Advantages
"About 128,000 people die from drugs prescribed to them. This makes prescription drugs a major health risk, ranking 4th with stroke as a leading cause of death."

My first question on any meds I get prescribed is whether it on label or off label use. Half the time docs are prescribing shit for the side effects.

That's actually a good question to ask; There's "On label use" where the medication was approved for a very specific thing, and then there's "off Label use" where a medication is used for something and can treat something it was never approved for. Xanax is normally an anxiolytic (for anxiety) but it also doubles as a muscle relaxer because benzos are skeletal muscle relaxants too. Not unlike the current Opioid issues; They're used for physical pain but they also totally annihilate mental pain too, which is why people take them a lot. Double edged sword of course and I've met very few people with Kevlar gloves.
