The plus is nothing unless you want to go mudding then you're set..

There's going to be alot of driveways being fixed next week.

Here in Southeast Michigan it was almost 50 yesterday and raining, and this morning was snow and cold. The melted snow and rain froze up but it's not that bad so far.

Crazy and I'm over here cryin about "The Cold." I get up this morning and see sun streaming in the kitchen windows. That was an hour ago and while it did start to rain, oh wait, a little hail

Gone now. Supposed to be the coldest storm of the year so far, at least that's what we've been told for the past couple days. Snow in mountains

The sleet started about an hour ago, gonna add up fast but I'm OK as long as we don't get too much ice {freezing rain}. We can wait anything out, but I really don't want to play generator roulette.
I just emptied the aero cloner, Great timing on that. The satellite is getting covered, so I'll lose my internet next.

They predicted .2", they missed it a bit lol.

Damn. I've seen -47C this winter, but power outages are incredibly rare and are generally over within minutes, and being away from all the coastal moisture means no massive precipitation drops and no ice storms.

To each their own, but I'll happily take a dry cold over the violence of the weather y'all are suffering through.

My best wishes for minimal misery and a quick resolution.

Sorry for your plight man. I hope you get power back sooner than later. Somehow we were spared this time around. We are deep in the woods and at the end of the line. I kinda have to do a power outage checklist before major weather events, even in summer. We had 5 weeks without grid power a few year back.

Ya I did 10 months off the grid I know all about that. And having 55 gallons of gas gone every 2 days..
The rain has stopped finally and looks like 4 days to dry out.
Hope to have power tomorrow
Ya I'm in the same spot. Last pole on the line in a area with one way in and out, that is not passable so it is what it is..
