It's easier to use your links as a source. I can just use your own words to make my point.

That’s the third branch I’ve cut off that has just died on the plant . These guys are doing some major damage . I removed all I could see by hand . I’ll spray tonight with a mix and hopefully I lose no more growth 1620A167-07B5-462E-846F-E64EF2913F96.jpeg You can see how the branch was affected C010AA95-F915-41FA-BBE7-6447F2590B89.jpeg Nana Glue with an overnight surrender of the affected branch

I’ve never seen them on cannabis before . I kind of should know better and am to blame as I vegged these guys outside for a couple weeks when I was squeezed for room . It’s kind of breaking one of the golden rules of not introducing pests indoors .
I put this one gorilla glue outside for a week.......brought it in and BAM..mites. I see something similar here on crab apple trees, different than yours but still scale. Do you see them on your plants outside the house?

Every time I let my guard down and do something like this its a disaster. I know other people that get away with it but it always comes back to haunt me.

My thrip problem started when I left a window with no screen open overnight by accident!

It’s definitely rolling the dice . You can kind of get back on track if they’re not survive apocalyptic conditions bugs like those evil evil MF may as well burn the tent down spider mites . I don’t even like typing that evil name .

No I can’t say I’ve ever noticed these things on any of my outdoor plants , that’s not to say they’re not there . I’ve seen everything else from Thrips , Aphids , White fly etc .
I can only assume once these buggers were introduced to the indoor environment of constant warmth they would had produced quickly .
Nasty buggers as well . As I picked them off the stem in an act of defiance they were spraying some sort of fluid out . Looked like a defensive measure .
Sickly little critters ?‍♂️
