Agree ?. Unless your looking for a specific breeder. Jbc, great lakes genetics and dc seed exchange should be all you ever need. I would add that black friday sales will be ramping up very soon if you can wait to order. Black Friday and 4/20 are usually the best times to buy beans.

TreeFarmer, I need to get an RO system next. Currently I drive to a water...station/store to get good water. Plants love it, seeds don't seem to care, haven't ph'd it tho, will give that a shot!

Love USC's work but the only place with their beans in stock that I know of is Sannie's, and then only the Nepalma and Turkish are in stock. Their site has said "WE WILL BE BACK IN OCTOBER WITH BLACK AFGHANI & DOUBLE JAM" for a few months now. Haven't checked Alchimia because they don't ship here.

Now I'm wondering if they have anything in stock that I haven't grown yet. I've grown out Uzbekistan, Nepalma, Col'Jam, Turkish, Black Afghani, Triple Pakistan, and Ducksfoot, I'd love to throw in a Zamal cross or Double Jam.

ILGM for me Nope . Their Autos were more than disappointing and personally what you see in sponsored promo grows doesn’t seem to add up to what you receive in genetics . Plus as mentioned you can do much better with breeders in here and supporters who consistently display solid results

I also echo the general sentiment that ILGM isn't really worth it. They seem geared towards attracting new growers, not heads that know and care about genetics.

souinds like a great strain -- please post when strain is here (Black afghain ) I agree it's (ILGM) geared to the new grower but hey (Let's spread seeds!!!!! Drop seeds not bombs !!! All Seeds Matter !!!!!

I will be checking out, all of these! Thank you for the insight, well thought out and relayed for being high! Also it was not in vain, I am indeed in the USA! I'm looking forward to trying some new beans, genetics and if i'm lucky some landrace's on the way. My #1 iso strain Mango Biche wish me luck!

I’ve used ‘ The Vault UK ‘ a few times and they’ve served me well also . Attitude has always given good service as well but The Vault does ship in the original breeder packs where as Attitude usually doesn’t . Having said that Attitude generally has a bigger range so just another option you may want to check out . Make sure if you do check out The Vault it’s the UK version . There’s another Vault seedbank that’s totally different .

...I just found someone elses plant while taking my dogs on a walk, and holy genetics batman, never seen a plant like it. It's not Frisian, but its got some hella unique leaves, almost tomato plant-esque but more... nodes? idk, looks crazy. Appears to be week 2-3 into flower from my guess, but it's also a strain I've never seen before and could be more/less...maybe substantially... I know some strains take a long time to flower. Can I upload video, or does it have to be picture?

I had good results with ilgm cherry pie, and for germ I go plain spring aka bottled ro and a dash of h202 let em float on top of the water then straight into whatever your growing in, and I immediately water in some bennies to settle the soil and wet the tap root a bit works great only 1 bean in the last 25 or so didnt crack

Shit i just do the scuff then straight into wet paper towel using tap water and then into a baggie. Place in box with router on top for warmth.

Have good enough luck this way so haven't changed it.

I've planted straight into soil, coco and rock wool and it is just easier to know if seeds are germinated or not without digging it up after a week of no show.

So I'm not sure where to find Mango Biche on its own but Headie Gardens has a few of Bohdi's crosses using it, including Dread Bread (Dread Bread (Mango Biche ‘Colombian’ x Old Mother Ghani ‘Afghani’) – Headie Gardens) which has been sold out everywhere else for a while now. They just reopened. You have to request an account before you can place an order and you have to mail in cash I believe. On the upside, Bohdi packs are all $45 each this month.

Also your right, GLG does have Dread Bread! I was looking for it not long ago and it was sold out, they only had the crosses made with it. Maybe a restock happened and I missed it.

Either way, I ordered a back of that and Drunken Parrot from Headie so I'm good now lol

Yup, there doesn't seem to be one solid method, but more like methods that seem to work for different people. I'm the opposite of you...I had horrible results with the paper towel method but have really solid germination rates soaking in a cup of water then straight to plugs or soil once the tap root pokes out.

I would add when you find your mojo....DONT CHANGE YOUR METHOD

Every time i change it ...dead in the plugs....or dead over here or dead over there.

For me the BEST is soak the seeds in a wet paper towel in a zip lock on something warm (QB120s in a cookie sheet light i made is PERFECT temp...they crack on top of the cookie sheet). A DVD or Cable box would likely do the same.

And some seeds are just assholes. If i dont see any sprout action in 48 they get the teeth crack method (my hands will crush them so its a micrometer or a gentle bite)

Fuc**** germination just did 4 seeds no issues - then 3 more no germination - now 1 -hops are high -------- habe tried all methods and the best sop far is the paper towel method, you have to decide to use a "heat mat" or not - just don't know germination is like "pan-ing for gold " sometimes i use a shaker to crack seeds !!!! One thinks after many years a good method is found - guess it all comes down to the seed itself not the "cracker" _ have cracked seeds that are at least 10 years old so age really dosen't matter maybe god temps help them crack ???
