I haven't played in years, never got too serious, got into other things (one of them being a job!) and life just took over. It's kinda like riding a skateboard, you can't do all kinda crazy stunts but you remember how to keep your balance and just ride.

A couple of years ago my brother, who got another guitar, gifted me this:

Now I just need an amp, maybe a pedal? Oh and some time ?

I took to 12 string at a tender age. Arthritis has me mostly just looking at them anymore. I'm starting to think I need to find a youngster to pass my small collection on to in exchange for hearing them played. Its really hard to let go of some things in life.

Thanks Red. I'd love to hear this through one of those oldskool Wizard tube stacks. I really liked the straight gain from those. I used to have a 5150 half stack, that gain was so gnarly it was like a rabid animal. The Marshall JCM800s were great too, but never played one with straight gain, always rack effects or pedal.

I picked this up a few years back. Its a cheapie. My buddy who is a classically trained violinist checked it out and said it was surprisingly as playable as some mid-high priced models. For $29.99.. He loved it so much he ordered one himself.
The only time I sound like I can actually play however, is when I have someone playing along on guitar, who actually can play. Then my 4-5 chords and a lil pickin' can be turned into hrs of fun.
Also have a beginners Fender Strat pack with amp and a digi pedal that i have never really been able to learn on my own. Bought it for my boy who never actually even tried to learn lol.
If you dont have it naturally, it takes so much time to really learn.

You don't get a les paul given to you everyday, that's a nice one buddy.

You have to pour a little salt on the wound here lol. My guitars have been buried in my storage unit for the last three years. We were ready to move and they were coming back out finally and then covid hit. Back on the house hunt so hopefully soon, I've been missing playing for a while. It's therapy that comes with sore fingers. My les paul is the only electric guitar I have left anymore, got a couple of acoustics as well. Pulled a pic from the interweb cause I can't get to mine.

Les Paul Studio, I also have a Fender Mexi-strat, and an Alvarez acoustic guitar. Oh, and a drum set that has been packed up since my wife bought a treadmill that is never used and moved her office to the basement.

@spyralout your ax is a real beauty I love the flame and the color.
Thank you! Yours is too, tobacco sunburst, oh man classic. @Bruno8437 was saying there's a number on the neck or smth to look up for the year. I should do that. I think it's mid 90's.

The Mexi-strats were surprisingly damn good, I couldn't tell too much of a difference with the Ameri-strat.

Squier strat, well yea, I could, that was my first guitar. But still lol

OK that's it, I'm gonna look into making pH guitar picks.
