Thanksgiving and family took priority over new shoes? The two Iranian specimens looking quite nice. Seems to have outgrown the funky leaf twists but I’m seeing some other mutations. Stem rubs are like a strong B.O. , oniony and funky. Hoping for one of each so I can multiply and go again for some numbers. View attachment 93225 View attachment 93226
Some fine specimens mang.
Looks like maybe some leaf variegation going on with those ones, I've had that show up on my Jenny plant randomly throughout her many lives. Looks a bit different though than what she shows.

I’ll try to get a better pic but the leaf that I’ve circled has one of those that comes from the center of the leaf and grows those little buds there. First time I’ve experienced this but have seen many. If this is an heirloom than maybe this is where the hybrids are getting it from. B1F9DF67-6B3B-4B9A-8F8D-A99DDDFA29AD.jpeg

I didn't even notice that going on. Lol.
I've never had one do that for me.

From what I found after getting leafbuds is it was most likely a root zone issue. It also didn't start until a few weeks in flower. I personally don't think its a good thing, specially if it is genetic. If its a root zone ph/enzyme/bennie imbalance/pathogen issue that is correctable. If it can resolve before flower I'd say its worth moving forward. I've not ever seen varigation be benificial imo, maybe not detrimental but something not desireable.

I am going to run out the Nepal Highland (my next preservation run) in an attempt to weed out anything undesireable.

Well, finally got everyone out of their way too small 4” pots. Gonna run everything in good old 2L square pots. Anywho, here’s the Iranian’s in there new shoes with its funky mutations. 30 some odd days since they got wet for the first time.

Definitely.

At least we will get a little look at the strain. If it's worth it I'll grab a couple packs for another run.

Best of luck Tex on the dice roll,. It's all looking good!
Appreciate the kind words @Deebs . If they end up being both girls and everyone is in acceptance I’ll try to reverse them with my nifty kit I scored from @HydroRed . If both males I can collect pollen and send it or some back to you. They definitely have some stank. Too early to really tell but stem rubs are BO, onion funk. Fingers crossed for a good outcome either way. Already happier in the new pots. I thought about just doing those 4” pots but that’s crazy! Watering was already twice a day and I’m sure part of the issue washing the nutrients out. Dry amendments only so far but calmag may have to be added with the ones mainly under the led light. Cmh side not having that problem.

Man I'm not sure what's wrong with me but I'm pretty sure it's hard to pronounce, cause you said BO and Onions, and I'm like "Oh I wanna smell that!"
It’s all good man, that’s the best way I can describe it. It’s a shame smell-o-vision hasn’t been invented. All the other shit you can think of but no stinky pics. WTF????✌?In this case we’ll call this one Funyuns.

Ever heard of the TV show called Good Eats? He talked about the people watching not being able to smell the stuff he was cooking and it reminds me of that lol. Hope you get some good seeds, and Hope at some point I can take a crack at that strain!

Hell yea man, Alton Brown! I miss his show and still watch the occasional rerun. Old school food network. Release this weekend but I think I lucked out and got one of each. For sure one Shirley and pretty sure the other is a Bruce. I’ll do pics of the parts this weekend. About to get adjusted at the chiropractor.✌?

I love Alton Brown! Apparently his idea for the show was "Monty Python cooking show" lol. And yeah my Fiance called our Chiropractor today to set up appointments.
