I’m having a bit of trouble dialing in my new plates...my ir thermometer doesn’t seem to be reading them correctly... maybe the material? I think you are right though.. when the rosin is hot enough where it starts to bubble, it seems much easier to collect..

When I was testing presses for Dulytek..I suggested this and he made them. I have the prototype and it works great for runny rosin.

Note: so does a frozen pack of vegetables or a frozen dinner!

I like the ice pack idea! I use this, just keep it in the freezer before use, and throw it back in when needed for those long nights pressing..

Yea That shit is pretty scary... I switched to borosilicate pearls on my bangers for that reason specifically.

This is the shits for quartz! I bought a 24oz bottle a few yrs ago and it's still 3/4 full. Just take a FRESH qtip and dip it into the bottle before swabing out the banger while it's still hot.
