Ive seen the SubLBC cut being offered around in MI lately but dont know what makes that particular cut special? Is that one an OGKB leaner? The cut I had a cpl yrs back was all OGKB and was dank AF (which is what was used in my Greases Pieces strain).
Y'know, I don't think there's one special, named cut of PBB. I just mentioned Sub cuz that's where we got it. Seems like most folks popped seed packs to find their own, and now it's all hype because you can't really get Thug Pug packs very easily, especially the older stuff.
I was actually wondering what your PBB was, and if you'd gotten it here local, or popped beans to find her.
The SubLBC cut is definitely OGKB heavy.
The 2 other PBBs we have were bag seed from the Sub cut outside last year. So far, they seem like straight PBB, but could be crossed to other stuff out there. There was a pineapple express, and GG4, both Sub cuts, I believe.
There were also some Cookie Glue bag seeds out there too, so we'll see how they finish flowering, and hopefully be able to say whether they're likely straight PBB, or crosses.
Oh! Got a few Greases Pieces in the mix too, so we should be able to compare those to the PBB stuff at some point too.
Regarding SubLBC, I probably wouldn't get anything from him again, despite his long history, and decent reputation, after talking to him about a couple cuts.
It seems like most of their cuts are from seed packs they've gone through, and he either doesn't know or care about the provenance of where cuts they didn't pop themselves came from. But at least he's honest about it!
I asked which Sour D cut there's was, and he said he wasn't sure, but could show me the seed pack they came from.
I asked if their Chem 91 was the Skunk VA cut, but he had no idea who Skunk VA was. So, I passed on those, and I think the PBB is the only Sub stuff we still have.
