More stuff came in the mail today.
I grabbed a pair of these Luxx LED clones thinking they were gonna be 24 inches. They are twice as long. I must of spend 8 hours looking at different light options, for small spaces and every OTHER light I was looking at was 24, lol. Shit, I don’t think these are gonna fit in my 2x2 mini tent I got specifically for clones. I guess I have to re-think this again, looks like shelves are in my future. 1B36CF9F-5510-4939-A68B-24C6E1F431E8.jpeg F5FF456B-F766-47C9-A9FF-CB8F02EEEF38.jpeg

One last thing that came today. Another soldier in the war against botrytis. My toshiba unit that’s in the room now is gonna go in my drying tent, and this will go in its place. It’s got the best reviews out of home units this size, this should be plenty big enough, (I hope). The only other unit Frigidaire makes is rated at 60 pints and was 550 bucks. At that price point I might as well go industrial, and I really hope I don’t have to do that.

Fingers crossed

Thats the same one I use and it was money well spent! Worked great in a sweaty 10x10-ish unsealed room. I used the hose attachment instead of the 50 pint catch and propped up the entire unit on a riser about 24" above ground level and let it drain into a 27 gal XXL tote. I was getting approx 10-12 gallons in a 24 hr period iirc. I used a submersible pump in the 27 gal XXL tote and ran a hose to my feed res so I could just pump directly from the collected water to the res. I made a diy sight tube on the tote with 5 gallon increments marked on the sight tube so I can see how much is in it at a glance. This also helps you know how much you are pumping over allowing you to keep ratios tight in your res if you plan to recycle the water collected.

Gave veg some recharge today. Getting to that stage where they wanna flower on me in these smaller containers. I’m inclined to just let them, but I still got some shit to do before that can happen.

The promix I like is frickin sold out everywhere except grow green mi, and they want a million dollars for shipping all of a sudden. I also discovered they store their stock outdoors, so that could explain the dry down issues was having with the Big Rootz/pro mix blend I used a few months back. I’m looking at minimum 100 bucks a bale shipped for pro-mix from any other place that carries it. What a fuckin racket.

Roots Organics soilless was reasonably priced at 18 bucks a bag with free shipping. Gonna give it a shot on this next run blended with FF cultivation nation 70-30 coco/perlite. I am trying out avoid growing in plain coco. I tend to have better results and broad terpene profiles when I give my Root zone a more diverse environment. I’ve noticed the pH buffering really helps from stuff with pumice stone or something similar… I hope the roots organics can achieve this, as it’s mixed with Perlite, coco fiber, pumice, earthworm castings, bat guano, leonardite, volcanic rock dust, volcanic ash, kelp meal, and greensand. They claim it’s “lightly charged” but I’m gonna go easy on the nutes for the first week. C74225B1-7D26-486C-B65E-F2D50959DF2F.jpeg 066D6BAE-612B-43FA-AC02-FA076CC49F23.jpeg

My freeze dryer is bouncing around jersey somewheres, FedEx says delivery tomorrow. This showed up today from Walmart and is another part of my hash washing endeavor.

5 Stage Reverse Osmosis water filtration. Had decent reviews and came with extra filters, an some other random shit. I opted out of the De-Ionization, which I normally would want when I’m filtering water for my reef tanks. I don’t think it would be beneficial to the plants, but if I fucked up, hopefully someone lets me know.

I haven’t decided if I wanted to use this to feed plants as well or not. It’s got 75gpd output, so there’s plenty of flow for whatever I need, but I think my plants kinda like my sketchy tap water.

Gonna transplant those little ones now that I got some small bags in.

rocking with these 3/4 gallon Honor Cannabis transplant bags for veg. I really like using his seed starting mats, and these pvc woven mesh that showed up today are really sturdy. They should also offer the air pruning I’m looking for. They were a little pricey at around 11 bucks a bag, but it’s far more sensible than purchasing new Amazon fabric bags for every cycle.

veg is looking pretty lush, and the bbs still lookin fine, got a couple potential heaters for sure, but I do have a few head scratchers in here…

This Dantes inferno has earned herself the #1 tag, and she has a pretty pungent stem rub. She also likes my soup, so I like her back. C67C8B24-E4CE-4D57-89EE-153CD49D696E.jpeg 10979FC0-E048-4689-87E5-4C3FB33C4C27.jpeg
Playercake #2 is green and vigorous, but her tops are all wavy and weird. Maybe pH? Too much light, or light related? Like she hates my schedule and wants to flower? She’s fixing to get moved under flower lights shortly, this batch is just about ready.

So uniform and lush. Excited to see what comes out of these. Those bags look solid too. I’m using half Amazon half hydro store bags outdoors. The black has not helped w the crazy continuous heatwave. It dries them out so fast. No problem, an extra watering a day won’t hurt. Just have to stagger out nute feedings so they don’t all drain out w the extra watering.
