Jars vs Bags

My soon to be Father in law had multiple bags where the buds were really dry before going in, so I grabbed some paper towels and did this:

Take a paper towel and get it wet (use bottled water) and then squeeze it so that it's not super wet and dripping.

Put the gently moist paper towel in the middle of the bag so it doesn't just moisten the top buds.

Depending on the level of it being dry, this can take some time; I checked after like an hour or so, and then left the paper towels in for like hours, and then pulled them out as the moisture level was back to not brittle buds.

Check them every hour or so until your comfortable with the moisture level. These are grove bags so I'm not sure if every bag works the same, but it did alright.

I still only have one bag with Blue Cheese in it; I like jars for curing, and I'm still not so sure that I trust these bags to "do it for me" but once they're dry enough, they do seem good for long term storage.

Hope this helps.

started to use amber color mason jars - have curred in C-valuts for 3 month with poor quality (dry) compared to Mason jars - Now understand that "grove" bags due to ther make-up can keep a good RH (constant) will not never use Bodeva/Boost Packs for storage both time taste was influenced poorly. maybe for long term storage (6mos' +) might consider "packs" FYI for what's it's worth
