I figure the canopy temp is always moments away from ambient temp.
In " the nature " air temperature fluctuates wildly on a daily basis, with little effect. Difference in the grow room would be the soil temp. Whereas outside the soil stays relatively the same temperature, indoors the media is subject to faster swings.
Roots do nothing when they are cold. By installing the in floor heating I am trying to get a jump start on the daylight hours. Manual or Auto, a choke is a choke ,,and nothing happens until you hit the Power Band. I want the party rocking as soon as the light comes on.
After regarding the weather forecast I select my heat cycle for the day. My thermostat is shot, so I rely on the timer to maintain consistent temperatures. I scavenged a refrigerator fan to drive the hot air into the subfloor.
It was much easier with Hydro. I just put an aquarium heater in the water and the root zone maintained a healthy temperature.
I have adopted similar methods here. I buried a cup full of water to act as a sight window
Scientist or hack,,, you need measurements to collect data, and you need data to spot trends.
Success relies on soil temperature. I will be regarding this cup, the ambient room temperature is on its own.
Not driven by consumeristic pride, solutions become simple.
,,, when I need some hot air driven off the ceiling ,,,I just wired my pedestal fan to the ceiling?
Never let pride stand between you and the things you want.

Not sure what ol Jewels was thinking there ; it was sitting in barely a knuckle worth.

I do like me fertz. As soon as I smartened up, the plants did too.
Tap read 260ppm last night. When I get lazy , and start splashing that stuff around, things fall apart quickly.
Loog'at that poor tangie out front, looks like a scalded cat. The tap water is simply undrinkable to them, it just sucks the life out of them.
This is almost three weeks ago-
Honestly if I saw someone post that photo I would assume that they were feeding them around 6,000 ppm.
Two weeks at 250 just F's them right up.
These all went into flower the moment I got them praying again.
Dats a whack O Sour , Chief.
I bred every plant in these two photos, and I used the seeds that you sent me.
One more F2xCrockett, they are stealing the show.
Still getting the hang of WaterTheFloor.
Transplanting is complete so the bed should even out, moisture wise.
Stage right is still funked up. Wet and dry.
Healthy though.
The two plants in the centre of the back row are Sweeskunk.
Lefty got F'd up pretty bad
righty ,looking slightly less embarrassing.
Poor girl, took it right in the teeth. Prolly woulda kilt lesser stock. If I had to guess I would say I pretty much fossilized the rootstock off when I dried her out crispy. There was still life in that massive trunk and sort of reinvented itself. I ended up dropping it into a Buick bucket so I could drive it home manually.
Watermelon IceCream setting nice. She is in danger of being dwarfed by the neighbours. Needs time she wont get. Will be swallowed up soon.
Twinkle Tart, hands down tallest stretch.
I only got one of these, but she is a beaut.
Symmetrical, beefy, right amount of stretch. Nice spread. A real looker.

Been regarding the calender. Checking inventory. Doing some finger math, bit of soul searching.
Newborn babe will be here before June starts. School's fin, before June ends.
65 and 85 days out.
Thinking of taking the Summer off.
If I clean out my supply of Fems and Autos, I should be able to scape together a quick , staggered flip, before the oppressive heat arrive.
Not a perfectionist, although I dont like halfazzingshit either.
Not to speak sacrelig, however, I prefer having the weed ~ over growing it. I do enjoy, although I feel a slave to my garden at times.
If I were wealthy, I would just be buying it. If I were super wealthy, I would leisurely grow it, ? full time.
My pails are full, 10+ gallons. Everyone loves to pick on 2020 butfuk did I grow a lot of weed.
Old lady dropped out of the game and I'm doing more working then smoking, lately.
Still working on Dec. Harvest.
I will need to find more buckets when I harvest the next couple of pounds ~ or 3.
Gonna chill, enjoy the Summer with the Family.

Leaf temps are cooler than other plants, it is sitting on the outside perimeter. I think it is not getting enough light. Perhaps to cold at night. Dunno.

My 1k HPS blinks down after a few hours. I will try replacing the bulb although I do fear the anchor maybe shot.
I drug in another 400 watt MH. Of course, that messed with my temperatures,,, blah blah blah ,,,
It makes for some nice photos. True blacks, true whites.
