This run was supposed to be some new auto strains but with money a little tight I've decided to try and do better with the ones I ran before this. I'm going to train less, feed less, defoliate more, try another nutrient brand and run it side by side the Veg+bloom I'm using now. I'm saving for a better lighting solution. This tent needs one really good light, not 2 below average Amazon specials.

I'm running
2 Whiskey Zulu autos from Twenty20 Mendocino
2 Cantaloupe kush autos from Mosca
1 Trizzlers from Twenty20 Mendocino
1 Hindsight fem (I'm just getting this started for my father in law's outdoor garden. I'll document it's journey here)

Same soil, Promix all purpose.
I'm gonna make a 50 mile drive to the nearest hydro shop and get something to help with root production, a praying mantis and some nematodes to try and take care of any pests in this soi 20210615_103107.jpg l. Right now the seedlings are in the big 4×4 tent 3.5ft under the parfactworks Ra2000 (230w) and are doing fine.

Next run after this I will be using Great lakes water only soil and whatever top dress amendments that I need to go with it. I'm tired of doing it the way I've always done it. I know I'm very capable of doing so much better and this place is helping me do that. I thank you all!

Here's a few of the start of things.

I'm trying to build up as much flower stock as possible so we have enough to get us through a long photoperiod run in late fall. I have a few fems I've really been wanting to run and since I have bad luck with herms during summer I'm gonna save that for when it's cooler out and my basement isn't as toasty.

I just ordered some Recharge in the hopes of building bigger root mass so my plants are much more vigorous this time around. Anybody have any input on how good it works? Thanks!
My plants have loved it. I give it to them every two weeks and they always look super happy after that feeding! In veg they always seem to jump in growth right after too. It's not as noticeable in flower.

I'm subbed by the way, that Cantaloupe Kush sounds real interesting

Good morning hunters! All the seedlings are doing perfect, nothing much to see. I forgot to post their start dates so here it is

Ck1&Wz1 born on June 11
Tz&Wz2 born on June 14
Ck2 born on June 16

I'll post some seedling pictures later on. Hope everyone has a great morning! I'm on my way to get some gorilla'd cheese live budder and hit up the hydro shop. Feels like a good day.

Recharge works well on a couple different levels.

When it comes to building a solid base for my plants, I am having success by adding a mycorrhizal when planting my seeds, then again at transplants. I like to break up the granules into powder, then I dust my roots with it. Heres a link to the brand I use.

I gave them their first feeding last night and they jumped up over an inch in 12 hours. Here's what they got
0.25g of Veg+Bloom Dirty (base)
0.5g of +Life(myco+other really good shit)
0.25g of Stackswell(their version of calmag)
1/2 tsp Recharge
15ml of Fox farm big bloom organic which is the recommended amount for seedlings.
They seemed to like it a lot so that's what they'll get the next 2 feedings. I'm feeding every other watering.

Whisky zulu1 and Cantaloupe kush1 are 11 days old. Whisky zulu2 and Trizzlers are 7 days old. Cantaloupe kush2 is 6 days old. 20210622_092941.jpg 20210622_092947.jpg 20210622_092931.jpg 20210622_092952.jpg 20210622_092924.jpg

That Trizzlers is looking like a strong one for 7 days. Gotta be happy!!
Yes I'm very happy with this start. The last one was mid March and my basement was pretty cold. Even with 470 watts i was struggling to hit 70 degrees in the tent. By the time i added a heater they were already showing preflowers and none of them really had any stretch. I'm hoping for 2-3 footers this time.

Steadily growing, like they should. My wife came home from work with a surprise for me the other day. She knows I don't like to use chemicals for bugs and her work had these Venus flytraps in limited stock. 2 days after she got them for me and they are putting in work catching fungus gnats and adult thrips. Good deal. Now I just need a praying mantis and some nematodes. Here's a few pics. 20210626_163958.jpg 20210626_164021.jpg 20210626_164040.jpg 20210626_164046.jpg 20210626_164056.jpg 20210626_164105.jpg 20210626_164013.jpg

After many hours of talking with my wife we came to the conclusion that we should start our photoperiod run now instead of later. We have lots of stuff to choose from, mostly freebies and even 2 that were very kindly donated to me from growers on here. We decided to get these wet
1 Gluesniffer s1 fem from Twenty20
1 Pupilstan fem from MMS
1 Pakman fem from MMS

3 Blood Rose reg from Hazeman seeds very kindly donated from @GCG Thank You!!

3 Mother's milk F2 very kindly donated from @HydroRed
Thank You!!

3 Drama queen (purple pheno)×Bye ya, freebie testers from Bad Dawg genetics

I have plants drying in the veg tent so I'm starting these in the 4x4 that the autos are in. Everything is on a 20/4 light cycle. The left side of the tent has a very suitable light intensity for seedlings plus I have my lights 3.5 feet above them. I figure that if I start these now they will be more than ready to flower in 2 months when these autos are ready. Why waste the time when I have a veg tent and veg lights right? I'm more interested in the two donated strains than anything. I will start a grow journal on here for this photoperiod run soon. Next year we will be working on our first seed run ever so between now and then I plan on doing a lot of learning on the subject. I want to be able to contribute to the community by doing preservation runs eventually. That's what it's all about. I'm glad I found this place...or I'm glad this place found me. Y'all are good people! 20210627_134437.jpg

We started those seeds on the 26th in the morning. My method is simple as it should be for germination. I soak the seeds in distilled water for 12 hours or until they sink. Then they go into some very thin paper towels, I always use the same water I soaked the seeds in to wet their paper towels(kind of a ritual),then into a zip baggie until they have a tail popping out. Then straight into solo cups with a dusting of great white and a zip sandwich bag for a humidity dome. This time it went super fast. 5 seeds are already in solo cups(glue sniffer, Pupilstan, pakman, 1 blood rose and 20210627_202923.jpg 20210627_202611.jpg 20210627_202551.jpg 20210627_202449.jpg 20210627_202528.jpg 20210627_202207.jpg 1mothers milk), above ground and green. The others I'll take care of later. I have a 100% germination success rate this year so far!

Here's a few pics of the autos. Every one now has preflowers. All of them started getting them day 13-14. Crazy! I hope everyone has a great day! Oh...i finally cleaned my dirty ass tent!

I'm gonna document the start of my photoperiod run on here until I get around to making a grow journal (soon). Only thing holding me up is the name of the journal. I always have a hard time with that shit lmao.
So yesterday all 3 Drama queen bye yas cracked, sprouted and are above ground and green. 1 more mothers milk is up, another blood rose. The last mothers milk just cracked in the paper towel so I dusted with great white and she'll get buried when she grows a tail. The Mm's needed help with a manually de-shelling. I was lucky I didn't break them with my huge ass fingers but i didn't do that's great.
Maybe you guys can help me. 20210628_201510.jpg 20210630_113458.jpg I want to get 3 more wet and I can't decide. Which one should I run? Thanks in advance and I hope you all have a great growing day! 20210630_141258.jpg
