Venom. It's getting there. The tight internodal spacing and plump calyces should stack dense colas.

Key Lime Pie. So sugary, one look and you got diabetes. Right now they look a lot like the Tangie99 I bought from Srenots (Reno Genetics) last year but I think they'll ultimately turn out to be snow cones like my Banana Ice Cream #1 from 2yrs ago (I'll dig up a pic and post it later). This is very early for such extensive sugar leaf bulbous trichome formations. Might be a killer hash/rosin strain.

Just glad I could help.

It was a good call and I really appreciate it. Got a lot ridin on this harvest so I was already a bit stressed. Lost several lbs to botrytis last year, so it made me a little over protective this run. If this harvest is good enough I'll be able to relax and fully enjoy the fall run.

Are you in the States? If you are I'll send you some beans this fall if my breeding is successful. If I don't get any Jack Herer or Banana Crack males I'll use STS to herm some for Fem pollen.

30 days into flower, we expect to harvest in another 30. Took a pic from each corner cause I couldn't reach high enough with the phone to get the whole garden from back behind the Key Lime corner anymore.

(front left corner from front of greenhouse) Venom in the left row and front 4x 200gal pots of the middle row, Key Lime Pie in the last 2x 200gal pots of the middle row and right row.

(back right corner) Key Lime Pie
20200630_153758.jpg
(back left corner) Venom in the 1st row and Key Lime Pie in the 2nd row (on the left side at the end of the 1st row is a single Cherry Pie).
20200630_153932.jpg
(front right corner) Had to stand on top of the 5gal nute buckets to get this pic because a lot of the Key Lime is around 7' on top of 18" of soil in the 45gal pots. Each of the 3 main rows is 2 rows of plants side by side.

The next gen are doing well and most are ready to become mommas. I've got one more possible male in the 1st set but it's one of those that are hard to tell. The preflowers have that vase-like shape but no hairs yet. You know, there's one in every family.

Made a modified reservoir for the Clone King gear. The pump would quicky heat up the 1.5gal of water in the included tank. (Please excuse the mess, the red clay dust around here is a pain in the a$$.)

Hopefully 10-12gal will be enough to fully dissipate the heat. The clones don't root well over 80F and die at over 90F. I may recirculate from another reservoir tub as well. Next season I'm thinking of using an open loop computer radiator with cooling fans but I don't know how well it'll hold up with untreated water. Usually they run distilled water mixed with propylene glycol or algaecide.

If you need to reduce heat input from the pump, a cycle relay works nice. I ran a cloner with a 10sec on time and 15min off. Virtually no heat input.

Question on your dep plants.
Do you notice less stretch when grown in the greenhouse?

Yeah, I started with a cycle timer last year that broke after a few days and almost killed the clones. Now I'm a bit gun shy.

I've noticed no general difference in internodal spacing from my outdoor grows but that doesn't mean much. I've never grown these 2 strains before so I have no point of reference. The fall run will be a better test case because it won't be dep and I've grown a couple of the strains several times.

The hairs are halfway senesced on the Key Lime Pie, the Venom is around 10%. 41 days in flower, estimated 19 to harvest. They're in the final stage of the swell. Will probably cut off nutes in 12-14 days, maybe sooner on the Key Lime Pie. I'll start doing trich checks under magnification in about 10 days.

Venom, the purple calyces are starting to show.

Key Lime Pie, great trich formation but the yield is a bit underwhelming.

Invasion of the Borg. This heatwave has caused a 2spot spider mite explosion. I don't think I can even spray pyrethrin this late into flower but I'll check. Looks like I might be stuck with them till harvest. One of the perils of harvesting a dep grow in July in my area.

So the Borg only invaded the couple plants in the center row up front. It's crazy how quickly they amassed. I can see how they destroy greenhouses if not controlled. I'm hittin with Nuke Em this evening to slow those little f^ckers down. In my experience Flying Skull is absolute sh*t but there aren't any other options that don't taint the flavor of the buds or make it unsafe to smoke.

F^CK YOU BORG!
