Not having the best luck with old seeds lately. The only Mozambique Poison that popped fizzled out. The old stock Cinderella 99s also failed to germinate. Both of these go back to the days when I didn't have a good place for seed storage, so while I'm disappointed, it isn't the biggest surprise.
I have laid down 5 C99 from the newer stock and have my fingers crossed.
Happy stuff: I have 3 Deep Chunks at about a week and a half old and looking strong. I'm still looking for a true couch-lock indica and have hopes that it may be in these genes, either in this IBL form or crossed with Northern Lights or Romulan IBLs.
I moved my drying cab to the basement. It is usually low 60sF down there and I'm able to keep the cab interior at around 60rh/60F which I'm told is a very nice level for drying/curing. The latest BBHP is in there, along with the early finishing CharaStar.
I have a couple amazingly fast growing plants from seeds that came from my outdoor White Widow auto. I know there are a number of other growers in the village and heard that a few were outdoor, so the pollen could have come from anything. They hadn't flowered by day 30 so I put them under 12/12 and both are super tall females. I took a cut of the most vigorous to see what happens.
The big CharaStar is on day 50 in the flower tent and just keeps swelling and swelling. It has a very old-school smell to me, sweet and a bit earthy. Can't wait to see how she finishes.
