Just a Couple Tent Shots

Another thing I've recently discovered is this handy unit. I'd heard that the dab tool/bowl tool that comes with some vapes is the same as a cuticle tool, so I went for a stroll down the nail care aisle. This is about 5 inches long and is a fantastic debowler and stirrer and doesn't get lost all the time like the little ones.

The mental image of you in that aisle and ringing this up made me smile :)

Makes me feel kind of ghetto though; I used to use a paper clip :(

Bah, not the first time in that aisle. Nail polish is great for painting fishing lures.

If someone wants to give me a funny look or try to embarrass me, that's just an excuse to play with their brain.

Which kind do you use on the Lures? Wouldn't the smell keep some fish back?
I had piles of rusty, corroded old lures and wanted to try to make them usable again.
I'm no pro, but the main thing I've found is (after cleaning them up) to put a couple layers of clear over any colour work you do. I also found the stuff with little sparkles reflects light very well.
Sometimes I even put a layer of clear on new spoons to protect the paint and inhibit corrosion.

If the smell is an issue, I haven't noticed.

I have done the glass of water in the window thing. Rooted a cut that way last summer, just for fun.

This is the first time in years I've had cloning issues. In addition to the low temps at nights the medium was almost all coco as opposed to the coco/perlite I usually use, so I do have things that could be the issue.

I'm actually about to take another round of cuts, so I'll see how it goes.

That's a nice idea with the glitter polish; I suppose once they're cleaned up and some new hooks added on they really are useable once again. I don't often use lures, though I have an old book on "fixing them up" and of course modifying them which is interesting, but I'm pretty straight forward in what I use; Basic spoons with good hooks, a Ratl (Really the brand doesn't matter as long as it makes noise) and of course, a good oldschool Jighead with really anything on it that I feel might work. Walleye love these. Or at least here.

Only other I have is "Ice Fishing Jigs" I got cheap (I needed small hooks so I could catch Bluegill for bait) but I have since found some nice REALLY small Octopus Hooks, which, are my go too favorite hook.

Now how is that Deep Chunk smelling ?

Did a bit of a rub on the one in front and it is sweet lemon, kind of like lemon pie filling. That isn't what it's known for, so I anticipate some evolution.

Oh that's interesting. Have you grown that out before ? I've heard about that strain before but, it's one of those things where I simply never saw it myself, but it seemed like a good solid one.

It's said to be a parent of BC Roadkill too and, a pure Afghani which is just awesome!

Nope, first try.

Same. :)

Pretty happy with vigour and structure, which is all I can speak on so far. Oh, and it cloned easily. I have rooted cuts of the male and both females.

Two of the three Smackerz had popped this morning and had 1/2" tails this afternoon so they are now in coco. The third hadn't popped after ~55 hours so I cracked it and should know by morning if it's going to go.

One of the ancient C99 cuts finally has roots on day 28. There is one on day 37 and two more 28's that are still drinking and green but not rooting.

So now I have two C99 females rooted. Two new phenos after growing one cut for years. Can't wait to grow them out and try them. The donors are in the orgy tent and if they are like the Skunks that just finished, they will be so full of seeds there will be nothing to sample. I will do some rubs to get an idea of the aromas, but not until I've removed the male and sprayed everything down.

I'm going to pull out the male and dispose of him tomorrow, hopefully without too much accidental pollen dispersion. It's a dust storm in there right now. Been wanting to do this preservation run for a long time, so I'm thrilled that it is going so well.

Took cuts of two of the Haze Berry. Was planning to start flipping them but I want to let them get taller. They are mostly growing horizontally right now. Instead I flipped one of the Deep Chunk cuts that took right off after rooting. I'll have an idea in the next month if either of the girls I have are worth running again. I sure hope so as they are looking really good.

Good show, Rok.
I imagine the better you know the Orig, the better your position to evaluate the new comers.
Thanks, J.

Yeah, my Cindy keeper has provided me and my friends with a lot of wonderful medicine over the last few years. She's an easy cloning, fast-growing, grinder clogging beast.
I'm ripped right now from a wake'n'bake bowl. She still makes me crazy, after all these years, so sampling her sisters is exciting. I'm not expecting a huge variation in effect, but would love to get some of the other terps she's known to have in those genes.

This cut taught me how much there is to know about one pheno and to never think I know a strain.

Just sitting here smiling. I fish and I grow weed. Life is wonderful.

Two of the Smackerz are up and have opened the cotyledons:). The third that I cracked finally grew a tiny tail. When I picked it up I realized it was still fighting the shell, but I didn't want to mess around so it is in moist coco and nature will do what she does. ?‍♂️

Chopped a Blueberry Muffin, flipped a Haze x Blueberry, and took a round of cuts. Despite my intentions, numbers just keep creeping up and I have to fight my urge to grow EVERYTHING.

How's that Blueberry Muffin? The Blue Cheese X Blueberry Muffin I got from Hogback has been great, and he'd said that the Muffin was good but that the bud structure wasn't great, have you noticed anything like that?
@Jewels has tried it, so maybe he might offer his opinion.

I've been running this cut for a couple years now, IIRC. (from a seed I grew via JOTI)
If I was a seller, BBM would be my money maker. She's an indica leaner that looks good, smells good, clones easy, grows easy and produces well. It's by far the most requested of what I share around. I try to always have one in the flower tent(along with Cindy)

There have been "specialist" strains. Romulan was the most helpful for a friend with pain issues, Cindy is loved as an energetic, creative sativa, for a couple of examples.
However for people that just like to smoke weed and get high, Blueberry Muffin has seemed to do the trick.
