Is this a replica or a phenotype from Mrsoul's c99?
When I saw it first in 2016 he was selling a bx but I'm not sure if it was from Bros. Grimm stock. It always sells out quickly though. Tried to search info just now and didn't find a link to Grimm. But that doesn't mean there isn't one. I went back and looked at IG this morning. His next release of C99 will be feminized.

In Bloom
I get a newsletter every week from a nursery that keeps and grows Brother Grimms, Humbolt seed company and a few others cuts and sells them. Kinda takes the fun outta phenohunting when you can get the original one someone else hunted for a long time. Don't get me wrong, I still love hunting...

Now to find the GOAT !
Good show !!
Thanks, J.

44 days for a cut to root. Just ridiculous. There are still two more at 35 days, the male and my keeper, looking happy but just not rooting. I was hoping to have the keeper in the current seed run, but if they both go I'll flower them together and do another run.

All three of the knocked up moms look good, though there is one that has caught my eye a little more than the others. I'll get some photos up tomorrow, (I just got off the ice and I'm pretty beat).

Day 36 since the flip. All is progressing nicely. The orgy chamber is now a maternity ward.

The one in the front left is the closest in structure to my keeper, with big chunky buds up top, while the other two are stacking more.

I really like this one though. Going to grow out the cut and see how she does.

Haven't really had a chance to differentiate between them by smell. At first I didn't want to disturb the pollen while the tent was open and now I have a cold, so that will have to wait.

Couple random closeups.

I seem to be making progress on both fronts of the bug wars. A homemade spray is decimating the mites, and keeping up on the Dunks is getting the aphids under control. Fucking mites appeared on my moms, down in the basement. Never even seen them before this. Not sure if they are local or they came in a bag of coco.

On a fun note, there have been a couple envelopes marked "mystery seeds" on my desk forever. These are randoms that showed up when I was making seeds elsewhere in the house, from stray pollen that got in the main flower tent. This envelope was dated 2020 and has not been sealed or stored well.

I tossed 8 seeds on paper towel two days ago, just to get rid of them really. Today 5 of 8 have good tails.

I think I'm going to start a small SOG tent to work through all these 'bonus' beans. Hopefully a bunch of small plants doesn't become a PITA.

In my spreadsheet, they are labeled Mystery Dance, as an homage to Elvis (not that one).

Thank you.
You Betcha Jake Lloyd GIF by 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment

You get credit for the other 3 popping.
All 8 have tails and 5 have already been dropped in coco. :)

I had no expectations. The seeds looked good but they have just been in a paper envelope in a cubby in my desk for years. 8 for 8 is quite a surprise.

Depending on how many become seedlings, I may have a space issue impending, as I still have a hell of a time culling healthy plants. Worse problems to have, I guess.

I think all 8 Mystery Dance are up and on their way. Still bemused about that. I don't have a clue about their genetics.

-------------

Here's a Deep Chunk on 49f. Not super frosty, but chunky with some nice colour. The citrusy smell has faded and she's more myrcene right now. I'm hoping it will be the powerful nighty-night meds I seek. Should know in a couple weeks.

Myrcene is supposed to be a calming Terpene so allowing that to go until it's like 30% Amber resin, should help ensure some good night time meds bro.

The three seeded Cindys came down today.
Going to let 'em dry right out and then do a quick germ test on seeds from all three girls. I see enough variation between them that I am going to keep the seeds separated by plant, just in case one ends up standing out.

One fizzled out, but 7 of 8 Mystery Dance are seedlings. Don't know what the hell I'll do with these.

Smackerz are about due to go into their final buckets. They'll get about 4 weeks to hopefully get big before the flip.

Deep Chunk is looking good and I think she'll be powerful, but the one I sampled is lacking flavour. There's still flower time left, plus the cure, so I don't know how the final form will be. The other pheno looks quite different and I can't get a feel on a smell. Still some question marks here.

There is one Haze Berry female just coming out of stretch and another that was flipped yesterday that hasn't shown yet. The girl has kind of a berry combined with Vicks vap-o-rub smell, but again, it's very early.

Spent the morning watching the prelims and treasure hunting. I have finished the initial search and tear-down of the first Cindy pheno.
For ease of reference, they will be C101, C102, and C103.
They still need to dry out and get cleaned up, and there will be a bunch more once the rest of the plant dries out, but I estimate at least 400 beans in this photo.

I've been so happy with the results since I started doing natural pollination as opposed to brushing it on. Every little bud all the way to the bottom of the plant had seeds.

Spent a good part of the winter fighting mites and gnats and night-time cold temps. It really affected the garden and the pleasure I was getting from the garden. I tried a bunch of stuff and now I finally appear to be winning.

I bought a can of "garden sulphur" powder and have been using it as a spray and it seems to have taken out the mites and the gnats. Bonus(?), the smell of sulphur is a massive memory trigger due to all the time I spent in the petrochemical and oil industries. ?

In addition to some other stuff, I have a couple Smackerz that look frosty and smell great but suffered due to insects. Should still get some fine smoke but I didn't give them the chance to perform to their potential. 100% on me.

There are 3 Sour Sparkles, also from the lovely and talented @thenotsoesoteric that are looking amazing 24 days into veg. Two are already in their final pHuckets and the third is ready. So nice to see happy, bug free plants that are thriving.

(yeah, yeah, I'll get some pics at some point. get off my back, mom!)
