Just like to grow

Hi from Canada , ive been lurking on a few 420 sites on the web and with the knowledge and sense of humour of the members here I've found my new home . Now , about me ive been growing off and on since the early 80's but slowed my smoking down to rarely (a joint a month) but i still have the passion to grow and my neighbors like it as well . I'll try and start a grow journal this year with the various seeds from the eighties (if i can get them to pop ) and seeds ive ordered and trying to order ie: various landraces BTW isnt that great that one can order sees online ? didnt see that one coming back in the day lol . I watched my cousins grow as early as '68!
My first Mexican bean was '72.

You’ve definitely seen a vast journey of change over the years then .
Nothing really much changed for us down south until maybe a decade or so ago when the world opened up to international breeders trading . Occasionally surfers travelling overseas would bring a few seeds back from Thailand or South Africa but they were always usually personal only .
Maybe it was much earlier for you guys .
We basically grew local bag seed for decades

I dropped my nuts in So. Cal so yea we had cannabis from all over the world.
All the southern varieties and cousins and friends brothers comin home from Vietnam and Laos was really sweet too.
By the late 70's we were in the mountains goin the gorilla thing until the early 80's.
That's when I first saw my first 1,000 watt MH fire up and never looked back.
In those days we would take 2 month old plants from under the MH and up in the hills we'd go.
Fun times!
