This time next year it's a real possibility!

But for the time being, all I can think about is how much the Secret Chief F2 impresses me. A warhead of it is some time-stopping tracer-laced head fuckery. It's my go-to PM smoke these days along with Comet, they both have that stupefying Chemmy effect with a hell of a body hit. Between Col'Jam x Ghash and Pipatxu x G13 Hazeplant the daytime meds are well-stocked right now. Amazingly enough, both lines are pretty much where I want them to be in the long run, especially the foxtailing keeper pheno of Col'Jam.

I took down the second (Oaxacan x Chewie) BX (a fucking beautiful plant that I will blabber on about later) and another Comet yesterday, in the process getting the first few seeds of... Bayraktar! [(The White x Stardawg) x Stardawg IX] x [(ECSD x Moonshine Haze) x '88 G13 Hashplant].

I'm unreasonably excited to drop that and Old Lawnmower.

Next drops: G13 Hazeplant F2, G13 Hazeplant x Cocoa Puffs, and G13 Hazeplant x Tin Foil Hat.

Oaxacan Heirloom, sounds wonderful ! My experience with Landraces is essentially non-existent; I have ONE strain I got sent to me a few months ago (Tashkurgan, collected in Balkh Provence of Afghanistan!!!!! Heirloom Indica *drool*) but that is still not wet YET anyway LOL. Can't wait to finally try an old strain!

Yeah Cheese line is so good it's ridiculous haha! Even my hermie Blue Cheese I grow for personal consumption that came from the buds I smoked from the clones I got literally the seeds get soaked and sink generally within a day, and multiples of them are in the tent right now vegging up before going outside HOPEFULLY this week if the Weather cooperates LOL. I also have Chocolate Cheese and Cheesing going. Then there's the multitude of Chem crosses of course (My other love that doesn't have Cheese in it is the Chemdog family) very much excited for this season

Huge day today.

A new light came, so I restarted the 24 hour veg tent with it and put all of the differentiated and pre-differentiation plants in there. That includes the Chocolate Lawnmower, Kaleidoscope, and Old Stinkers that were germinated over the last couple of weeks. I've been annoyed that I haven't given the plants currently in flower enough time to veg, so this should remedy that.

So of course that means that more beans had to go down! Following right on the heels of Mr. Nice's G13 Haze come:

That super frosty Baked Strawberry Ghash dude is revegging now, he'll probably be flipped again in a couple months to pollinate the all-fruit drop coming next. The Skunks will come after this- with the discovery of the BSG stud I wanted to get better potential matches for it down.

Then comes the fun of selecting some Lemony dudes for the Lemon project, VCG F2 (Orient Express x G13 Hazeplant), Orange Ghash F2, The Cheeses...

I'm toying with the idea of dropping some of the fruity fems tonight, because now there's space for them to have extended veg time. Heavy Grapefruit grows pretty slowly and doesn't really stretch, so she's an obvious candidate. We'll see.

Have you grown out that cherry ak before? If so did you get any cherry out of it?….I’m looking for cherry terps…I’ve got cherry laces, and cherry racer and than some white cherry og but just in case I can’t find a true cherry flavor I’d have a back up than lol

I did start to Ponder what Meatman mentioned though about Cherry Terpenes and realized that I don't think I've ever actually smelled bud that had actual cherry smells too it; I've got Skywalker with a Blueberry Jam smell, and a Strawberry Diesel that smells a lot like fresh strawberries, and I've had a bunch of Lemon smelling stuff, but the Cherry one.... that seems like a rarity at least in my experience.

Beta-Myrcene and D-Limonene, seem to be the main Terpenes of Cherries, and that "tart" like smell I would wager the Myrcene was probably responsible for that as it's also a key to Skunky smells and maybe even a sour?

That means that there's been space for all of the Shotgun Weddings, 67's, and Kaleidoscope in the differentiation tent. Purple Strawberry Sherberts are down, as is Framboise [(Kryptonite x Mello Platinum GSC) x (Cherry Wine CBD x MAC)]. Dropped a couple fems of Sannie's Afghani Fields too because fuck it. Once I have the open pots I'll put down the fems of Tropical Fusion and Tropical Nuggets with 7 Hills (Strawnana x BBSC).

Of the 10+ Digital Dream beans that I dropped, a couple of the ladies look clearly a step ahead of their siblings. The [(Blue Dream x ON Haze) x G13 Hazeplant] also has a few clear winners. The males of both crosses have been okay, but I think I'm just going to brush both that and Digital Dream with leftover pollen from the last Blue Dream x ON Haze dude since he was stronger than either.

VCG (Orient Express x G13 Hazeplant) are starting to take off in flower- the nicest lady is going to get hit with pollen later tonight for F2's. It seems like the stretch on these is significantly less than the GHH, which is a bit surprising.

That revegging Vale Tudo lady is looking like she'll be ready to re-flip in a couple of weeks. Definitely going to take a cut of her before flipping, I don't want to lose her before chucking some of the BSG pollen on her. She tastes like hashy (American) smarties and kicks like an annoyed mule, so that and BSG should make some insane babies. If there's an outstanding Kaleidoscope dude, they'll definitely get crossed as well.

BTW, I've completely switched my medium to 50/50 Promix CC and Perlite amended with lime, vermiculite, Gaia Green 4-4-4, kelp powder, epsom salts, and micronized sulfur. Trying to reuse dirt became more of a pain than anything else and I decided that the time spent doing that wasn't worth it, especially now that I'm close to a grow store that actually keeps theirs inside.

The last of the Comets will be coming down in the next couple weeks. It's a great smoke, essentially everything that I wanted from that strain. I've got a good feeling about the Bayraktar beans when they go down. They definitely seem resistant to revegging though, I haven't gotten one of them to start throwing leaves again after pulling them out of flower.

I read that article too and loved it. I'm super interested in Afghani in particular because of it's smell potential, and, of course, it's ability to deal with the cold, and I can tell you that if you have a good nutrition plan with a Cheese, you'll LOVE the results! Last season I had two seedlings that were totally different from each other even tough they were in the same soil and got the same nutrients, but one in particular.... I describe it as a pungent Cat Piss, as it reminds me of the strain, and a used litter box to be honest.

The Lemon project sounds like it's gonna be awesome bro ! And Blue Dream with some Haze I can imagine that being just wonderful Sounds like you're going to have to rename your tent the Fire Pit cause those are gonna be flaming! Love it bro!

Yeah I do have a place in my heart for the strains that come from there; I read through the Indian Landrace Exchange I think it's called ? They go all over and collect landrace seeds and even have climate data!! I read through what they have and some of the data as I was super intrigued by that and happy to see they added it as it can help to "try" to make a climate similar to what they'd have naturally, and they also had lists of smells available which was cool; They had a few on there that it said smelled like "Sewer Sludge" and as weird as that sounds, it reminds me of why some of the plants are referred to as "acrid" haha.

I'm going to hopefully have a female of Tashkurgan going pretty soon as that is going to be my very first ever heirloom Indica (Says it was collected in the Balkh province) and I'm pretty excited to see how that goes
