OH yeah I've had publix chicken before that shits pretty good. I have some family in florida so I have been down there a number of times. Florida also had the first BK with a full service bar that I had ever seen too, so, yay for florida I guess.

Oh yeah I forgot about the chicken chalupa at taco bell, it chopped white chicken meat and that squishy chalupa shell, its real tasty.

Man I am a junk food junkie I can talk about this shit all day. Best way to save money at those places is avoid the soft drinks. Those are like, the wost thing you can consume there anyways. Sometimes I'll grab a taco bell 5 dolla box when I'm at work and just have like, 2 sips of baja blast cause it hits the spot.

I guess one day I should at least try the Church's Chicken lol.

I will say I did like the Burger King one compared to McDonald's lol. McDonald's wanted to fuck around and find out ripping off the Popeye's theme, and so did BK, and Taco Bell, and pretty much every other place was like we need pickles on Chicken lol.

There used to be a place here that had like ridiculously good chicken but it's gone.

Arby's did that too but their prices.... it's like "OK look you have a drive thru.... your prices are ridiculous " they made this nuggets and a few weeks later Popeye's was like we got nuggets too bitch boom! Lol.

@Psychobilly you got to get the coupons for Arby's, no limit on coupons used at a time and most of the time they don't even want the coupon. It's great

This looks amazing. I'll probably skip the overnight brine the first time I make it as I'll no doubt be jonesing for fried chicken and won't be willing to wait a day?

It is difficult to find good Southern fried chicken in sunny so cal. I've been searching for years and working on my recipe which still isn't where I want it. Can't wait to try this. Thank You for posting?

Based on all the posts, I think there is a clear winner so I’m closing the poll and calling it. Thanks everyone for a fun poll! Yes there are so many different chicken options but I had to choose some of the more well known ones. Home cooking and hole in the wall can typically beat these chains but it wasn’t that type of poll otherwise the candidate list woulda been 17 miles long lol.
