Yep just straight kratky. The key is maxibloom. You can’t do organic whatsoever and you gotta keep er clean.
I will be doing a smoke report on the shit/piss jar grow just to gross out everyone. It’s science. The plant uses what it needs regardless of where it comes from. You won’t catch me chewing on the roots tho lol. Don’t worry.. I’ll flush ? heehee

Time for a little research I guess. Though I have heard the phrase "kratky", I'm not familiar with its meaning exactly. Until the last yr or so, I havent been on any forums in a while.
Maxibloom I do know good stuff man. I'll be following along.

Guess its no worse than growing edible fungi in manure.. In either case, that may be some info to leave out when sharing with close friends

I never left dish soap in the res but a tiny little bit wouldn’t hurt most likely. I had a couple identical buckets. I would just wash one with dish soap. Rinse it, then Mix up the brew and ph it then plop the plant onto fresh bucket.
One more thing. Tap water is necessary IMO.
So basically you have to grow a little shitty on purpose.
-old school powder fertilizer of some kind. Maxi is hard not to use cause it’s straight up meth and not organic.
-tap water (the treatment lasts a few days and that’s all a res will last anyways unless it’s big. Which leads to next backwards kratky tip
-use a small bucket and top it up once or twice between res changes keeping the water level fairly consistently halfways up the roots. This way you don’t waste much water when you change out for a fresh brew. (Which you gotta do at least once a week.. twice is better) I found best performance when water level is juust slightly lower than halfway up the roots.
-you will have to battle ph swing. If you set ph sketchy low to start this helps get a couple days not f@cking with it.

This all being said, if you don’t have issues with power outages a plenty like me, throw a damn pump in there and fill the water up the rest of the way and tell professor Kratky to frig off. This is just a little fun. It is all hippy dippy environmental to grow this way but not very practical. Coco and hand waterin would be similar results if not better and less rediculous. Kratky is fun tho ?
