I appreciate the feedback guys. I had just started working with rapid rooters on my last run. Great germination rate with them. I do believe i will eventually invest in a tray. I'm tired of looking for perfect size containers depending on how many I have ?. So center of the tray and do not overwater when i do? We finally made it to pick up my stuff so I'll have a bit more room to work with soon. Then i can re-arrange and get some new toys ?

@Texagonian @spyralout Any idea what they pack those rapid rooters in? The reason i ask is i have some well over a year old maybe two. They stay moist sealed in the bag but no MOLD. Just kind of surprised they have not molded. What ever they are packed in must prevent it.

I thought it was maybe RO. I've used some a few months after opening.

they are packed in a mold free solution. That is why they are never moldy.

If you turn then upside down and cut a little hole in the bottom to put your seed in they stand up by themselves put the round end up and cut the hole).

Then you can just use trays.

I read it someplace...it is a good idea.

Yes, I've filled the entire 72 slots in the tray, I will refrain from doing that in the future. I'll use the edges in case I think some of the rooters are too soppy and need to dry out a bit.

Middle of tray:

See the water lines? That's the max you'd want it. Also notice the Root Riots and the tiny holes. With the seeds in there, it almost doesn't even look like there are any holes.

Edge of tray:

see how the water level is lower?


there are more roots going through the hole under the tray. this is 9 days from seed drop, no germinating in water/paper towels/etc. Could've planted in the pot a few days before. RO with some tap. Or just straight tap. A little hydroguard and clonex doesn't hurt. This particular batch is 50/50 RO/Tap. 45w LED, if it was stronger I might get a bit quicker growth but this light fits the propagation area of the tent perfectly.

So it has been an exciting week. Finally got moved 700 miles and man was that some shit. But my love helped fucking tremendously and I finally have my shit. We also received most of our seed orders. Got some @HydroRed 3thirteen seeds
and my Ice Cream Punch from GPS (gelato #33 × purple punch).
Then a pack of Purple Marmalade from Solfire Genetics. We ordered more but only those last 2 are mine ?. I'm not greedy ?. Though once he runs his i may ask nicely for clones ?. So fuck all I'm excited. Obi-wan would coach patience but man i just want to run them all now. Lol. I'd make a real shitty Jedi.

Waiting now on my GLG 420 deal i bought some more of Mr. Reds seeds. I sent cash though the mail and thank goodness i sent it priority mail. It only took 13 days to get there. I was a little nervous to say the least. I contacted GLG (Drag boat) and he told me not to sweat it. He said roll a big one a kick back Priority mail almost always gets delivered. Well he was right it only took 13 days to go like three states over. I wonder if anyone knows if you can get a refund from the USPS when something like this happens.

You can if I'm not mistaken. If you paid for it and it took longer than priority you should be able to.

So we ended up taking a week to pack my house and get moved instead of 3 days so my new babies are a bit stretched as they were not potted in time. I've got them staked and plan on just wrapping them around the skewers. So these are my BBC × HH bred by @yougrowyourway and I can't wait for them to get bigger (and I mean that in the proper sense, not the I let them stretch far too high sense).

Then of course my H-Dub that is growing like a fucking champ. A female champ we hope.

Then my gifted Adub S1 that finally seems to be happy again. She is definitely benefiting from the light trim she got and a bit more light to her center.
I'm so happy with all my little babies ?. The genetics are fire so it's just my job to not fuck it up. As I'm on furlough let's hope I can't use time as an excuse ?.

Bruce Buffer Voice: And here we go. Introducing first: Adub S1 Coming in at 10 inches tall and 8 inches wide. So she is beautiful. I trimmed her up a bit today but i can't take credit for her really. She was gifted to me by a phenomenal grower so she was already nice and healthy. All I've got to do is not fuck up. And since that same person checks her for me daily, that will be hard ?.

So we got my stuff which means my baby set up one of my tents ?. Please excuse my blurples but i really didn't feel like pulling them all out. So I've got my 9 clones and they are stupid happy. I've got to get training these gals before they run amok. Can't wait to see what they are.

I also got some more Black Heathen Cookies (BBC × HH) given to me to replace the ones that got fucked up during the move. All 4 have popped and 2 are in soil. Can't wait to see them break ground ?. Oh man I'm in love.

I somehow managed to murder my Ice Cream Punch seed so I've got another one soaking now. Just going old school on it. Soak, paper towels, soil. My H-dub looks great after being topped so I'll snag some of it as well.

Those bitches got bushy for real. Used to take me hours but on the inside I really loved it. Give me a bushy plant I can trim and watch grow for 5 hours.
