Lets talk nutes

I've used foxfarms a little, mostly use general hydroponics 3 step now, will be trying out other stuff after I figure out what I'm keeping. All lights & plants are new so figured I'd stick with nutes I know for now

I agree, i need to stick with my tea regimen until i can get used to my lights too i think.

I still love using MegaCrop the best. I've had trouble getting it in the past though so I'm trying Veg+Bloom Dirty and Life+ now (as well as a super soil mix for a few plants).

Just did a couple runs with a bunch of General Organics bottles and I just prefer dry nutes at this point. The remaining GO stuff is getting donated to a friend.

Good ol schultz 20 20 20, I'm going to try off trio next grow. Also have a bloom fert I use on my canna lilly and is safe for food use. Should I switch? I will post bloom fert in morning shut in the room with them. Funny as hell have them in 24 hours dark and I noticed I was being quite in there lol

So the Jack's 321, this stuff can be a pain to desolve! Ive only tried it for the first time this go around.
I ended up using warm water in smaller containers to mix it. Still sems something always settles out.

That's odd, I had issues with megacrop mixing right even with hot water, now I switched to Jack's and I just dump it in my bucket and it mixes in with the quickness and stays that way.

I'm sure you are, but are you mixing in the proper order? Base->epsom->calnit

I figured I would post this here for those interested.... its on another forum discussing megacrop v3... i thought it was interesting

very cool video! We are probably going to switch back to “balls” for a bit until we get more feedback. The problem with the fine powder, is that it is much MORE hygroscopic than the just the normal balls. The balls kind of minimize the hygroscopic tendencies, and especially during summer when its hot out, mixing the batches attracts much more moisture.
So overall we find the product much easier to work with, and far less hygroscopic keeping the balls. For smaller growers worried about consistency, you can simply take your bag and blend/grind it down yourself. Only small growers should worry about this, because mixing more than 5g at a time greatly reduces variance with particles

This is my line up. I have just started indoors in November so I didn’t know which way to go with nutes. Started with Nectar of the Gods and I just couldn’t dial that in. Almost to “scientific” for a newbie! Got the sample bag of Megacrop and it worked good, but every two weeks or so, I’d have a lock out and would have to reset. Switched to BioThrive and have liked the results. I had read somewhere that there was no need to ph test, but I did the first couple of waterings. Ph fell right to where it needed to be!! I still check it every few waterings and it’s golden! The Zen Products additives I got as a free sample and they are doing amazing as well. I am following their feed recommendations and just switched the Molashish for the Candyman in the bud room. Within a few days the frost is packing!

As I said, I’m new to all this, so even I take all this with a grain of salt, but of everything that I’ve tried, this seems to be a hit in my operation!

Front Row AG here. First run with it, but so far so good. Only using Part A and Part B, will probably just run with the two parts through this run. Next run might add MOAB as a PK booster for the couple weeks before flower, but overall I think a two-part blend will suffice.

Growing in Sunshine Mix #4 for a few of the plants, and a custom peat mix for the others. Everything amended with perlite, vermiculite, and EWC.

I have a thread that covers the full details of the line I'm using, so I don't want to duplicate information, but you can see more details here Front Row AG

I'm fairly basic, if it ain't broke I don't "fix it."

Fox Farm liquid nute trio, Root Excelurator Gold (seedlings get this once or twice), Real Grower's "Recharge" (I use this after transplanting into a bigger container or if a plant has suddenly gotten sick looking.)

I'm definitely a Jack's 321 fan, I run it in f&d totes at 500-1100ppm depending on conditions and stage of plant growth, it's sooo cheap and I haven't had any issues at all with it yet, I mix 100 gals worth of stock solution in 2000ml of distilled water at room temp a good shaking and it's ready to go, if you see the white stuff in the bottom it will dissolve over a few mins as long as you agitate it good a few times.my results with it have been pretty good I'd say, way easier to use vs the 9 bottles of AN stuff I was using before just to burn up my ladies. Only supplements are liquid silica during veg and up to week 4 of flower and great white top watered in every Rez changeout
