Lunar Cycle

So far, no ones come up with any reason why beyond time keeping... ?

Anyone got some peer reviewed science on moon phases and cannabis growth/germ rates/terp production/whatever this is supposed to help with
The best I've found is gravitational pull during a full moon which claims it pulls sap up, thusly increasing cannabinoid content, and water content, so harvesting during a full moon means potentially more noids but also potentially more water.

Curious is this is a tangible amount or just wooky, folkwife kind of stuff.

I don't believe there is any tangible proof for any lunar gardening claims. Somebody can post it if they have it.

That said, I use it to schedule...kinda..but I pop seeds on a waxing moon.

Question...I am in zone 6 and there is a full moon......meanwhile there is a full moon in zone 9 and zone 3 also. Do they all plant seed on the same date??? I don't think so.

@JollyPete when the sap thing comes up I feel like people tend to over simplify the conditions. I'll ask, When is the moon ever directly overhead to do this pulling? If you watch the video bh posted about harvesting of wood for tools it seems to me the guy doesn't fully understand the native tradition. Notice how he stumbles and doesn't know the exact number of branches that are placed in the ground. (Remember the other 2 lunar cycles?) Now, maybe he does know and has other motivations influencing what he is saying, but again what seems clear to me is there tends to be an over splification.

Back to the question when is this opposing gravity going to be greatest? I'd look for times when masses are alligned like an eclipse. Guess what, it's blocking the photons are responsible for the energy it takes the plant move sap.

We are now at a time when computer simulations can break through the complexities of these variables and though there are models that show the possibility of life without a moon, even those researchers suggest we wouldn't recognize it as anything familiar.
