After broadcasting a lot of seeds I got a lot more than I thought that would germinate. I then dug up my selections and I have been narrowing down the Intergalactic Freaks as seen with one normal pheno about to be culled today! Between the four I'll have some open pollination as well as a bit of selection taking place once I catch the pollen and make my next steps forward to truly bring it to an Intergalactic level of Freak

Thinking about Freaks, this girls definitely not one that can be held back as I mentioned upon last posting a shot of her last week.

She reminds me of an old friend that has been reincarnated, and it was her that came out of the graveyard here speaking directly to me back in Aprils beginning. Nothing could stop her during the frosts and then the bugs tried to knock her down. I wasn't nice either when I dug up her roots and potted her either, so she is definitely Hardy and Vigorous from the start.

It's getting harder now to get all of her up close in the photo, so this is probably her last for a while.

I love Calico Cats and I coined the Variegation Calico within the many I've grown and bred through the decades, and this is a Calico Dog instead of a cat.

Recently I was working on a assessment with the Chem D and I put it through the gauntlet here to see for myself just what and when and how this old cut throws down when stressed out with negatives. I've pushed her to the fullest of her potential and even then I did use positive stressers to gain and explore through the years. So with that said I was overdue for sometime on the opposite side of the tests here I do with every single plant in the Collective I founded just because inquiring minds want to know and I will not grow seeds from a plant until I get my tests done. I believe as well that it's a really good prequisite for breeding plants that are known to display sexual instability even if it is just anthers in the very last flowering stages of development and growth. IMHO there's tiers or levels of hermaphrodism and more than just what we think due to nature and how it goes. Might as well learn from the plant and nothing more.

Variegation within the Cannabis plant is odd, unlike the Sports within the horticultural scene Cannabis tends towards only developing recessive variegation when stressers are a factor. I left this cut in a horrible scenario to ensure a malady of defeciencies and other stressers. Many people have called out the instability in the cut and the other Dogs too and it's definitely a good one for the example.

When this cut is stressed with negatives the variegation you see most commonly is related to Calcium deficiencies as well as Magnesium most times not. It's present as well when the cuts dialed in but most people don't notice it then as it's subtle and harder to identify let alone notice.

Along with the simple secondary nutrient deficiencies and an irregular period of watering the cut throws anthers around 5 weeks in and they are miniscule and not abundant. I have seen very little pollen within the ones I have found and removed carefully with a scalpels assistance. Those bracts are just tricky to see opening up when she decides she's had enough and pulls her emergency switch.

After removing the few Anthers I cut these carefully finding a miniscule amount of pollen grains and I have to question it, chances are it's not very viable from my experience with the other plants I've done this with as well.

I tend towards not posting the clone only for valid reasons, but I felt compelled to share it with others here and I will be sharing a lot more variegation as well in due time that I have captured with the lense and still grow. IMG_20210706_085142706.jpg
