Into the time warp of rejuvenation. I have witnessed a lot of different plants go through the process and no two developed exactly the same. It's intricate how each type unfolds depending upon the stage of flowering and nature of it's own morphology. This one is really pushing the Fibonacci sequence and spiralling

I don't know everything there is to know about the Ogitigan and the plant relations like the relative's within the Mukwa Dodem (Bear Clan) but it is a lifetime study and commitment for the herbalist.

As you see in the wheel above many plants are ceremonials and highly revered. One might ponder upon just how a clan could be so knowledgeable about the plant world. It's rather simple, but it's a sacred story. Long ago the two leggeds were much weaker and the Bear led the people closest related to explore and watch it as a Medicinal Chief Animal and the Bear has taught the people about Mishkiikii for eons untold.

Most people think of the hibernation of Mukwa and think about getting fat and sleeping a long time during the coldest of the winter. In reality Mukwa needs Mishkiikii (strength from the earth) in order to prepare it's stomach for the long fasting ahead and it is the plants it uses to fill it's stomach with a plug. Once spring arrives and it's time for Mukwa to emerge from the den once again the first thing it does is eats Cedar and other herbs to begin awakening the stomach in preparation for the purging of the medicine plug within the stomach.

I don't go against the traditional protocols, so I can not write about the sacredness and deeper things that there's to know about the path of the herbal healers and the Bear, let alone begin to explain that reverence for all of creation. But I do enjoy sharing what I can in text about the worldview and cultural knowledge.

Outside of the ceremonials and medicinals the plants for food , tools and medicines are much easier to talk more about in depth. Medicine is a very universal thing within Anishinaabek culture, so I reference this here as plant Medicine, and not ceremonials as they too are medicinals but the esoteric is a part of the reverence due and nothing more. Back to the exoteric. I'm going to be sharing more than just a basic concept here for others, but it's going to take time and efforts on my part to be able to break things up and simplify what really can't be. Quixotic, that is the English word that comes to mind. It's also a cultivar I have been working on too

Okay I said enough for now..Baamaapii

Back in 93 I had a really sweet gorilla grow on the edge of a swamp and each plant in a 5 gallon bucket submerged in water and muck. I was able to access the grow from only one place without waders being a part of the watershed of several creeks in the vacinity.

Long story short, I remember the plants and enjoying the rapid growth a lot like the plant I posted above. I didn't add anything to my buckets other than the potting soil I made. I noticed that I didn't really even need to do much of anything as I suspected after reading about ancient and indigenous hydroponic gardens. But the one thing I observed that stood out besides not needing to water the plants was that in each bucket ants had started colonies due to the drought of that summer. Those ants are a soil beneficiary and the plants grew unlike anything else I have ever seen to this day.

The above plant came up out of the graveyard here with a colony of ants, and as before the colony moved once they outgrew the container. I have another plant powered by ants as well where you can see just how much root activity has built up in mass around the colonies small area they're developing. Won't be long before they relocate unless I up pot soon.

Craziest thing about that summer and gorilla grow was the fact that by the time the plants were waist height I selected three females that I pulled out and relocated indoors under the stars with an old Honda 185 Three Wheeler lmao (what a memory - closet full of ants). I had intuition that I had to do what I did with the three chosen ones and sure enough a couple days later I heard helicopters nearby which sent me in a panic leading to refraining from the weekly visit. After a long two weeks I finally got the courage to head back through the woods and see what was up. To my surprise there was nothing more than empty buckets and cut stumps surrounded by the broken cattails and reeds from the helicopters landing. Operation HEMP got the Crop!

It's funny how certain things just bring you back in time for a few moments when memory resurfaces.. IMG_20210627_102737114_HDR.jpg

The Conjurer-

She's now in the midstream of the flowering process and it's now necessary to keep her chained up due to the fact that she's in only a one gallon nursery pot of my own soil blend. I foresee her getting tippy at some point. No need to guess when, as I don't want her breaking any of those delicate little clone only girls around her ?

It's so much easier to stress test run those clone only and all that new new bottleneck foodie named hype as well then my own creations. None the less, I have no worries about her stability even though she's not getting pampered. Perhaps that is next, as Id like to place her under the lights and run her at a higher brix and EC.

It was 1996 when I first got my hands on a sack of Bubba Kush. If I recall right, even through the Cartel it was $60 an eighth straight with no brakes on the price for bulk and that went practically overnight. Few people got any of it due to the first tier of dealers keeping it for personal stash.

Fast forward to around ten years ago when I got Pre 98 Bubba Kush, it's been a long love affair since. I do though prefer the Original Bubba Kush when it comes down to the structure and framework. Can't say that I prefer one over the other though from the Original Bubba Kush I have from Orgnkids collection to the Pre 98 Bubba Kush shown below and onwards through the S1 pool with the Katsu as well as those LA Pure Kush cuts as well when I get to smoking some of these. They're all epic in their own way ?

Hazey kinda morning here x 2 .. Driving the Bus into the morning light and here's another one riding along

Mild soil mix with minimal input, but it's not like that is gonna really slow down this Tangerine Trainwreck Haze cut much, besides a few extra moments to shape her for the push ahead.. IMG_20210622_121933.jpg
