While America celebrated its Independence, I found mental refuge and peace away from it all enjoying the view of serenity and its silence it always offers me here in one of my most favorite places on Lake Michigan's shoreline.

Wagoshaunce is in the distanced view and a long walk around the bay with a few swims between the islands. This is where the Eagle flys freely as well away from the developed world.

On every clear night like last night there's a beautiful array of natural fireworks in the Sky IMG_20210703_182118058.jpg

After a long week of rainstorms and a lot of rainfall the insects are really exploding into a super high population point due to this and the lack of predators.

With that said, I have ordered another electric fly swatter for the win. I don't employ pesticides, unless it's truly natural and I have no qualms about hand to hand combat either. But I do think I'll be ready for the Wimbledon next year OLYMPIATS103_01.png

Some more of the Freakshow selection. I'm really happy to have been able to select from a very wide range of phenotypes beyond what I expected. This allowed me to focus on the Broad Leaf type as well as the Purple I found in a few select plants presenting colors last fall.. IMG_20210709_185622_831.jpg

For being a Durban Poison Dom Highbrid I have to say that she's a monster and a very fast flowering one as well.

Trying to get some shots of her entirety, but it's not possible for me to do without moving things around - but this gives one an idea of just how much space she's taking up and the weight she's supporting without a struggle.. IMG_20210712_102736684.jpg
