MMS Strikes again, just got the word last night from a breeder that went there for some reason or another. Free seeds can be very costly in the end! "Two females nutted" was the direct quote in the statement given to me.
Sadly there's plenty of people who witnessed the guy passing out seeds like candy thrown and scattered in a parade while actually telling others afterwards " Watch out, there's Herm prone stuff in the mix up, or down in this situation. ?
I have zero tolerance for people who don't care about anything other than themselves and their own stupid ego. If you know what you are doing and working with this should never happen except for in-house testing which would = ?

Refund? ^ I don't think that it's going to be a full one covering the seed banks excessive add on fees, supplies, electric and ones time. Sounds like a lot of retribution is in order and I don't think that anyone is going to get anything more than lip service if they call the complaint line.

Even though this is a reported issue, my grow environment is intentionally not dialed in to draw these out if they are sensitive. While it doesn't make me happy, some of the blame for this is in my hands and on my grow setup. Anyway it is just on to the next.
That's not a real page haha. There's a bunch of drama between Prof P and MMS and that's one of the pages set up by Prof. Ps disciples meant solely to troll MMS. There's no way Mike from MMS would ever put his phone number online. Dude still masks his voice for podcasts I think.
I haven't been blown away by any of my MMS gear and I have had some instability issues, but I can say that about more than just this one breeder. I feel like MMS focuses on pretty and unique color expressions at the detriment of better quality bud and more reliable genetics. But I also know growers who love his gear so I may just have had bad luck. Part of why I'm going to move towards popping whole packs is I feel like I don't give strains and breeders a fair shake growing only one plant of each.

While I agree with the popping a whole pack sentiment. I am using my light dep trials to narrow my search from a mountain of beans, to find some I really want to focus on. In most cases I will pop 2-5 beans per varietal and keep my favorite to flower. I find that gives me a window of observation. With trees due to size and investment, a couple of extra seeds expended is a very small price to pay for a better chance of a high quality plant. I knew a guy that would start 300 plants to find 30.
Yeah man, I like that. And culling is another thing I'm working on. I need to stop investing energy in plants that will clearly be subpar. I've done the same as you up till now, just popping a few here and there looking for what I really want to work with. For me it was less about breeders and more about strains. Like, do I like Kush? Do I like cookies? Do I like Haze? I don't trust what dealers used to tell me I was smoking lol. Had to find out for myself. Feel like I have a good idea now, so it's time to pivot.
As for MMS, personally, it's not for me. Funny enough though I still have friends bugging me to run the Grape Pupil again. Peeps loved that smoke. I wound up giving most of it away because everyone liked it more than I did. Funny how that works... the reverse was I loved the White Tiger from Hazeman and no one else liked it so I still have a jar full just for my head lol.

I will try a couple more because I already have them. Probably as a one at a times with other stuff so I don't count on them. Then when one possibly makes it through it will be a pleasant surprise lol
@GthaEnigma same. I have a bunch more still from various trades and such so I'll give them a shot at some point. Or I'll give them away and let someone else try them lol. Either way, they'll get grown

I got MMS Pupilstan fems and received 3 Pakman fems for free with my order earlier this year. They are gonna be in my fall photoperiod run so I'll be very sure to keep a close eye on them. I don't see much online about these two strains. Anybody run them yet?

Didn't think it was genuine, but if you know, you know what lip service will be offered if anything! I don't get into the breeders battlegrounds, let alone follow anyone who partakes in such. But I don't have a problem calling out the truth. I know several people now with children and health issues that expected to not be in the hole out of money screwed by someone who just doesn't care and shows his face in public without a shrug
I've been running stressed out runs for years now to ensure that the gears straight and I don't even sell it. One plant is all that one needs to know everything about the breeder or chucker in short. I think it's obvious that some people don't mind the risk, but most people expect stability at the minimal right along with potency. I have no Ill feelings, but I do know someone upset and out of more than just cash as his crop is seeded ? and is going to be burnt tonight in the bonfire.

I'm very interested to see how that Pakistani landrace and star pupil effects are. His description is what sold me on the Pupilstan. I wish I had two spots to grow so I can start these photos now but I'm too worried about light leaks from the auto tent when the photos get flipped. November is so far away lol. I'll have two more auto runs in by then. Hopefully the Pupilstan is worth the wait.

TBH for all these breeders that sell their stock and don't even put what the lineage is or any info and ask quite a bit to just buy ti and know nothing ?, testing or not I've seen a lot of breeders both ways play the blame game vs backing their gear. I admire when a breeder can admit on their wrongs and try to do better and at least there was issues and not blame others. I may have only tested one pack from them but their males and stuff shows passion , at least they represent it that way vs many breeders in cannabis industry that play so much games and pretend they are above everyone else.
like I said, don't have much experience with that breeder but respect their views and actions and want more breeders in cannabis to be in that zone and costumer service!

I have a few beans left from this guy. He's the Don King of my IG page. Enthusiastic marketing campaigns flooded with a bunch of gobbledygook that could or couldn't be true. As far as the grape pupil I grew out, it was average bud. The plant was very hemp leaning but turned out purple. As far as the "effects" and flavors it wasn't any different than a standard high. Idk fellahs ?♂️
That's how I felt! But it's like my friends smoke with their eyes.... they saw all that purple and fell in love! Mine did definitely have that unique Pupil taste, it's just not something I really dug.
But then again, my favorite smoke of the moment tastes the way an old man's sock drawer smells so it's definitely possible im the weird one...

You're not that far off GMC, I go to a cup full of all kinds of top shelf medical grade and at the end of the walk around I'm feigning for harsh brick weed that damn near choke you out and burn your throat. Maybe I just get off on the pain.
