MAYBERRY (BLUE STAR S1) M-22 Breeders cut

at least i haven't screwed it up yet! it's such a forgiving plant to work with. it has great vigor and is getting about 1300 umols for the 12 hours producing approximately 56 moles per period.

running about ec2 in the recirculating part.

no spots, yellowing, or any other visual disorders. just a hint of tip burn but that's not nutrient-related here. still having rh swinging from about 45% to 65% depending on the weather outside.

for the hydro-heads in the house, i have not removed any solution from the recirculating reservoirs since the first day as a 7" clone.

solution input only. both pools are reading 980 and 1000 ppm respectively. with ph swinging back and forth around 5.7-6.0.

each pool holds about 24 gals at the 3" operating level.

i feed it with a gravity tank (32 gal brute) holding about 30 gals.

last sunday, at the 7.5 week point from transplant, i had to refill both 30 gal tanks for the first time.

that means it took 30 gals of solution each to get them that far.

90 grams of jack's 5-12-26, 30 grams mag sulfate, 60 grams calcinit, 1/8 cup mr fulvic, and a heaping 1/2 tsp kelp powder were used per plant so far.

both the pools and the elevated tanks were mixed at this ratio initially.

because i am now in flower and the nutrient strength tends to accumulate in the recirculating system i mix the re-fill solution at 90% of the original filling.

In Bloom
end of week 6. stacking up and slight purpling beginning. very sticky. really strong aroma.

you know how people describe plants with vague "fruity", "floral", or "earthy"?

nothing vague about this one. blueberry all the way!

i cut a little branch off just to get a preliminary idea. it should be dry enough to try tomorrow.

thanks, josh!

In Bloom
today is the end of week 8 of flower. i'm going to take them down now.

a beautiful, trouble-free plant to grow. the flowers are dense and hard.

i bent over a couple of branches to show how it stacks.

this entire grow was done with solution input only. at no time was any solution removed from the system.

this is through 30 days of vegetative growth and 8 weeks of flower. 86 days.

the medium is perlite amended with worm castings and DE.

total list of materials used; per plant

6 gals chunky perlite

243 gr. jack's 5-12-26

162 gr yara liva calcinit

81 gr mag sulfate

36 ml 85% phosphoric acid

1.5 quarts worm castings

1 cup diatomaceous earth

6 oz mr fulvic

3 heaping 1/2 tsps kelp powder.

i cut off a branch at 7 weeks and my wife and i tried it this morning.

smooth, very smooth!

strong blueberry with an undertone of perfume floral though but it's subtle compared to the blueberry.

strong terp profile on the inhale.

but it's about the high of this plant.

i get a physically relaxing sensation with relief of muscle and joint pain.

accompanied by a general, overall sense of well-being.

it is relaxing while being mentally stimulating. makes me want to do stuff but no anxiety or nervousness.

it's an extremely pleasant experience. you just feel good.

i'll be back with another report once it's dried.
