I've always been on the cheaper end of the spectrum, buck, schrade etc.... I want to see some of your fancy schmancy ones. I love that stuff. I want a speed goat but I don't really skin anything. I get such fomo looking at that site.

Dude they take abuse. I totally get that. Think I'm more of a collector than anything. My EDCs though my folders I use they get beat.

Here's the Camillus, from 72 I am pretty sure , was my father's. And I'll gladly without my fancy ones and favorites here and there when I get a chance. Glad you said that ?
This is the one you get if you try to come in my house. ? It's good to have one of those in case.

Oh snap, we talking knives now?? I used to be a big knife nerd but once I had kids it was one of the hobbies my budget didnt really allow for. Only fixed blade I still have is a stag handle Bokker I take camping. I love old Barlows and still collect them when I see them though. And this is my daily carry, a Benchmade Bugout



I have a tanto bladed CRKT folder too that my grandparents bought me about 20 years ago that I used to carry, but when they passed I started worrying about losing it so its my house knife now. The bugout is way lighter and pocket friendly anyways.

Edit: Heres the CRKT. Damn I need to clean my knives.

That bug out maybe just maybe the best EDC ever. I still can't get over the weight. What a beautiful knife. I had to have one. I just can't find it at the moment. I have the 940 also and a couple others. Great company

You know I was wondering when knives were going to be talked about on here. It's about damn time. I've been collecting folders and fixed blades for years. I love knives almost as much as my cultivars. I got a camillus and they (Marine Corp) switched to the k bar. Not too long after that. I'm going to try to dig it out now. @Mim Towls , ty for breaking the ice on that !!! By the way, I'm missing you all. Had to go back to work now that I'm healthy again. God does it suck lol

The favorite one that disappeared was the k bar stolen since it came from my dad who passed when I was young. I was ecstatic when my mom deemed me old enough to be safe with it. I was 8 at the time. lol.

That thing is real sweet. I could see a theft being the only thing putting one out of commission. I was staring at the collectable section of the Ka-bar website this morning... so awesome.

Its a really nice display pc, may even be worth some $ someday. That one was a gift from my mom yrs ago.
I could spend some serious dough on knives and other sharp things, gotta avoid websites and stores like that. lol

I knew you were a knife guy the way that we both referenced the "old timers" knives as being something that we've always had, but never bought. Always got one of those things.

This old timer is always in my backpack that goes everywhere with me.

My switchblade in the office I use for opening mail. Lol

And this cool one from my dad's stuff is pretty neat.

And this little one I carry typically cause it's so tiny, but useful.

I've been eyeing benchmade for a couple years now. That crkt is sweet I love that handle a ton too.

It really is incredible that they were able to make a knife that is that durable at that weight and price point!

I've been eyeing benchmade for a couple years now. That crkt is sweet I love that handle a ton too.

That bug out is amazing and it's affordable. Great steel s30v . When I bought mine they had a lifetime sharpening thing where you could ship them anytime you want to them. Not sure if it's still going but that was a bonus too

That's what my pops always preached to me ever since I saved up my money to buy a Buck protégé with the rubber handle when I was like 12. " You don't need that big old knife in your pocket, carry a nice little one like I do"

Here's probably half or so of my Spyderco. Amazing knives . I hated the look of them originally and once you have one in hand it's like whoa . They don't look ergonomic but they're comfy as hell in hand.
And as you can see, I use all of them. Try to at least.

used to have one similar to #4 down from the top. It was a gift and at first I thought it was kinda weird until I used it the first time. lol Gives a great spot for more leverage using the thumb. Nice collection mang
