bring it. all day. hahah

That goes to anyone reading my journal. I will always welcome a knife pic, no matter how out of context it may be to whatever kinda BS that is going down at the time.
Got any... Cheese Knives?? Lol I don't, though, I do have Cheese Scissors technically.
Hey I jumped right on that train too. ???

I am so guilty of derailing threads. Lol
I'm the same, whether it's cool shit, or cool folks chatting, all good any time.

Yeah me too bro. It's not like intentional or trying to be rude, but like sometimes, I'm really stoned when I'm on here, like now, and it'll be like "Cheese" or "Chem" or "kittens" and I Fucking turn into Rube Wadell.... my favorite pitcher in baseball ever lol.

Here's the other knife that I put my hands on daily. When I was little, my class took a field trip to the warther factory and I was obsessed. I love this 9" French

That's beautiful! Seriously, looking at them now (warther) ?That's the one thing I didn't get into was kitchen knives. Was going to ask also if you have a sharpening system. I grabbed the KME years ago and that was the best purchase I've ever made. Bring it right back to factory. S*** I've even had to sharpen a few from factory lol. But I think it's good to learn how to sharpen both convex and straight It's a useful skill and there's nothing like having a razor sharp knife. Some of the knives that I wanted really bad were convex so it was almost like I was forced to learn on leather.

Anybody a member of the Usual Suspects Network? It's a private knife and knifemakers forum. I was a member many years back when I was studying EDC and Prepping but lost my password long, long ago.
I just checked and see they have a new url but are still up and running.

(I love knives, carried one since I was 6, but I don't revere them. I have no safe queens, though I do have a box full from my eternal quest to find the perfect pocket folder. I had a few Spydercos [lost one], but mostly Buck and CRKT and Camillus. I love the simple practicality of Moras and own a bunch. I also have a pile of multitools.)

No sir! I only have some old school sharpening tools. I'm gonna check out whatever KME is, because that is on my list of things to educate myself about. I just started using my honing stick because I always said " that thing ain't doing nothing" ....then I learned about straightening the edge vs sharpening etc....Now I don't start cutting without a few passes over the honing stick and I can totally tell a difference. Especially with things like tomato skin.

Now that I'm in the country, I often wear a belt knife, which is such a nice option to have and by far my preference.

As for pocket knives, I've found if it's too heavy or bulky, I won't carry it regardless of other features. This is my most recent acquisition and so far it is serving me well. I like the clip location for deep carry and this is my first knife that flips open using the tab on the spine (I know there is proper lingo, can't be bothered to look it up). It makes for an easy, blind, one-handed, draw-and-open action with a bit of practice. This can be handy when fishing.
It's light and slender and I barely notice it while carrying. I'll beat it up for a while and see how it takes it. At home there's lots of other tools and when out I'll generally have a folding saw and/or fixed blade for heavier stuff, this just needs to do general tasks.

I'll add the words, cause the weeds that dang good, and left a bro speechless.

Went fishing, got too high and couldn't fish, just sat there imagining all the fish I "could" catch. Lol. Then smoked another joint.
What was I trying to say again?
Mmmmm.....fish.........

Or I guess there's no need for words with a sweet pic like that. Lol.
