Day 75. I think I'm gonna let her go 12 weeks so 9 more days. It seems to be the sweet spot for autos and I think she still has a bit more to produce. Fed her today. It'll be the last time she gets the veg+bloom dirty base and the +life. Just the Shine bloom food and big swell from here on out. I don't think I've ever grown a plant with buds as rock hard as hers. She has a classic og funk to her with a little fruit mixed in. Mosca says melon so that's probably what it is. My nose isn't as refined as most people's. Bad sinuses. She's a beaut! 20210628_200708.jpg 20210628_200650.jpg 20210628_200334.jpg 20210628_200404.jpg 20210628_200616.jpg 20210628_200631.jpg 20210628_200730.jpg 20210628_200746.jpg

Just a few of her on day 78. She's just getting water and she's still drinking very fast. 6 more days left give or take. Trichromes are all cloudy with just a tiny bit of amber so who knows maybe more than 84 days. I always try and let them go until they slow way down on drinking or when I see a fair amount of amber under the scope. There were two different times given by mosca. Their site says 80 days, package says 70. I've never had an auto finish in under 74 days. Must be my setup lol. 20210701_180652.jpg 20210701_180643.jpg 20210701_180720.jpg 20210701_181011.jpg 20210701_180945.jpg 20210701_181027.jpg

Autos definitely take some getting used to. Can't grow them like I grow photos as far as watering, nutrients and light intensity go. With my last autos, i tried blasting them with 470w of led and some liked it, some hated it. Being under that much light for 20 hours a day was just too much for them. I've read that all autos need is what I have in my veg tent, cheap QBs lol. Even though they are lower intensity it's the duration of light intake that matters not the intensity. That's what I did wrong last time and I started to do it this time with my new autos until I came upon a thread that talked about the issue. With my new autos, every few days I'll bump the intensity up until I find their limit. Gonna be glad u Waited. Unreal man ? mad I wasn't paying more attention. Just went through the grow and was amazed bro ?

This is my first run with Mosca gear. I'm also running Twenty20s autoflowers. I'm hoping that the seedbank I use restocks moscas raspberry boogie soon. That's the one I've been after for awhile but I keep missing it when it restocks lol. This plant is very easy to grow, nice vigor, node spacing and it's resistant to these pesky thrips. It just chugs through life with ease and she's getting fatter by the day, especially since I incorporated the Humboldt Secret flower into her diet.
Hey, just wanted to check back in with you and see how the run went? I'll tell you what, on my end, that sunset sherbet wasn't much until flower really set in. Then holy crap!!! Seriously, one my favorite strains now hahaha. I found a specific pheno that was straight fruit stripe gum and fire!!! Really pale green flowers in comparison to the others, for anyone looking. But yeah, i can't recommend that strain enough. Definitely dropping the others I picked up from him. Hopefully you had a similar experience. Much love, best of luck and be safe my friend!!!!

She's on day 81 and wow. I can probably chop her now but I'm one to take them as far as they want to go. Buds are purple, green and cream and frosted to the max. When I have the extra money I'm gonna pick up many packs of Mosca gear. Great and very stable genetics with plants that can take a beating and still produce big beautiful buds

I'm really glad I waited. Whenever I look at her I say to myself "Just a few more days" lol. She just keeps getting more and more stacked and frosty every time I go down there. I'm glad I have 2 more getting ready to throw down. Same exact structure and stem rub too.

She'll be taking her preharvest 48 hour nap at lights out tomorrow morning. Lots of ambers now so she's done. I'll make sure to take some pictures tomorrow then come back after she's done drying with the yield, first impression pre cure smoke report etc and then back again after the cure with another smoke report. I will be starting up a new autoflower journal in a couple weeks with 5 new ones from Twenty20 Mendocino. They'll be going in my 32x32x64 tent and the seedlings in the 3x3x6 tent when I get it soon (along with other stuff I'm gonna start up). So much is going on this summer, I just hope it all goes right.

Here's the last pic before she went for her final nap. She did good for being a transplant, overfed, underfed, over and under watered, destroyed leaves from thrips and a too powerful led and a light schedule change 3x. These plants can take a beating and still perform very well. Mosca has solid genetics for sure. 20210707_170032.jpg

Mosca's got some nice stuff (Raspberry Boogie being one of great interest via description but was never in stock when I had funds). The highest dollar bill price tag packs I've bought to date...but that's not saying much... I'm frugal as pHuck!?

I think I got a tax return not long after I started growing and sprung for 2 packs($100+/pk...unheard of from me, lol, even to date)...Ripple (Stinky Le Pew x Old Time Moonshine), which I was really excited about, and Tsi-Fly (C4 x C99) which was of course also of major interest. The Ripples, 9/10 were duds, didn't pop, I'm saving the last one for tissue culture preservation in what seems like the very distant future?

The Tsi-Fly on the other hand was impressive! Think I still have 2 seeds left from the 10 pack. 2 of the 8 that I cracked previously were top notch plants in growth, vigor, bag appeal, terps, affects! Been saving that one for tissue culture along with a few others in the vault.

I plan on learning and understanding the process, ins n outs, in due time. I know there's people/plants/seeds out there that need preservation. We only owe it back out of respect?

I've had really good luck with Mosca, I've heard about duds on the fem gear but haven't ran any myself. My favorites were Raspberry Boogie and Pineapple Mayhem. I ran the Ripple as well. Had a nice Blueberry muffin pheno till I lost it(dang mites!). My least favorite was pink lemon-aid. Just never found a good one.

Never tried tsi-fly , read that one was good for concentrates. I'm hoping to f2 the rest of my packs for personal preservation purposes. I've had way more good to great plants from Mosca than bad ones.

Banks i snagged Mosca from...
DCSE , GLG , JBCseeds , theSeedBazaar. The seedbazaar usually sells bigger packs and has more variety than the rest when in stock of course. I know they were supposed to re release Raspberry Boogie again this month or last just a heads up. Man, I'm stoned later guys ?
