I've always kept my spare boarding passes, in my freezer, and even years later, they do work well. As good as fresh, nah.
I just tried making my first wood pellet spawn for Lions Mane, mushrooms.
I followed an online recipe, using cherry pellets for smoking, some beat up wheat and rye berries, to field mix.
Packed up each bag with around 4 lb's of spawn material, for a total 3 bags, put them in my 925 AP cooker, and let the rocker rattle @15 psi for 2.5 hours, and I always just let them sit over night.
Last 29 minutes I could smell sawdust, and figured a bag took a spill in there, sure enough, I did add weight a plate over top the last bag.
I'm still trying to decide how deep I want go with this project.
A good friend, has fallen in love with the beginning lab work, as before I did it all, and they are a great barter item, I also got tired of all the falis I was doing back then.
We'll see.
I forgot to add 2 links, full of information.
