So I've been thinking about buying a micro sterilizer to work with in my SAB until the flow hood is going (For blades, needles, loops). 200-300 for a new ceramic micro sterilizer..ouch

I saw this on IG

Researched parts, and just bought them, under $30, going to give this a try.

It's pricey but worth it. The convenience of that little unit is awesome. I'll be buying one at some point.

Good stuff @coste ! I was hoping to see some pins from the ones we plugged in the summer..you can see some mycelial growth but no pins yet
i was definitely getting nervous man. this flush isn't going to be that great as i let the logs dry out, so they didn't colonize as well as I'd hoped. I'll be soaking them overnight this weekend in hopes that colonization will pick up, but my hopes are pretty minimal on that front.

On that note, I'd recommend soaking yours too. IIRC, resaturating the logs triggers fruiting in some cases, and should yield bigger fruit bodies. Don't take my word for it though, this is my first attempt with this style of cultivation.
