Have to think on that one. I'm pretty low key, so announcing my presence isn't really my style.

Since you didn't list yours, may I suggest:

I'm thinking some of our more creative types may have theme songs standing by that they never got to use on stage, or maybe they did get to use them.

This could be a fun discussion if people get into it.

I can vividly remember that music fully freaking me out as a kid . Sometimes I’d be diving around our coast and that bloody music would come into my thoughts . Not good ?

So what's your theme then?

I'm having fun, scrolling through my collection looking for possibles. Haven't even made it through the A's yet, but here's the early ones that jumped out.

for obvious reasons ;)

this seems to kick off the scene in the right mood

From my favorite Cooper album. The Quiet Room is my favorite tune, but not as a theme.

Fuck it, I did it. I'm guilty.

Just tried to have fun,
Raised Hell and then some,

The Reverend Horton Heat doesn't get enough love, IMO.

More Jimbo music.

RHH actually played The Flood Zone. It’s one of the few shows I can tell you the EXACT date because my youngest daughter was exactly 7 months old to the day and I got a call in the middle of the show she was in the hospital. It’s the ONLY show I’ve ever left where I was running security. 11/19/98 was the date.... the weird trivia we keep rolling around in our heads hunh???

Unpopular, tar and feather, run me out of town on a rail, opinion time.

To me, Bon Scott era ACDC was one of the best ever at that style. Dirty, sleazy, bluesy rock and roll, with a psycho leprechaun on guitar and with one of the most iconic front men to ever hold a microphone. I love everything they did.

Brian Johnson ACDC was just another generic rock/metal band to me. They still went 100% and put on an amazing live performance, but other than Angus, there wasn't anything really significant or unique, and I'd already seen Angus.

Not so strangely their success was inversely proportional to my opinion, so once again, what the fuck do I know? ;):)

You gotta respect a superhero that’s actually doesn’t have any real superpowers except no fear of heights and a heap of cool equipment .
I dunno man, the whole "hey teenage orphan boy, wanna dress up and go play in the dark?" thing always threw me off. o_O

(what the hell, the assassins have already been dispatched after I spoke badly of ACDC, might as well diss Batman and make everyone mad. :ROFLMAO:)

I actually grew up with these guys. When Dave passed in 2014 (we all saw it coming) and I actually like what the crew did with The Slave Pit. They’ll NEVER replace Danielle who was Slymenstra and to this day I hold her in high regard. I have MANY anecdotes that involve her. I will say this.... You’ve never truly run a security crew until you work a GWAR show and if you work a smaller venue where security helps clean up after..... I pity you.

Just had to look it up. Presuming you are in the Sydney time zone, you are 18 hours ahead of my time, @Ramjet159 , and headed toward Autumn.

I always have to remind myself that the forum folk are from all over the place, when my mind tends to assume you are all sitting in a frozen paradise waiting for Spring like me. ;)

I may get lynched in certain circles for this. But I listen back to this stuff...

And ponder...
“Wow, those drugs I was on were pretty good back then, hunh???”
I mean that’s the ONLY way I’m sure I understood one word, J/S.....lol
