Holy shit nice job @Capt. C !!! That thing is a BEAST! That pic where you have it propped up, looks like a mean ass double stacked semi truck grill lol

I don't think I've seen anyone run those HLG boards yet. I mighta missed it, but how many watts are each of them?

Nice dang light there Capt. ???
Like spy said, it does look like a bad ass big rig grill.
Now you need a Mack truck hood ornament to it.
That'd be sweet.
Grow some Mac under the Mack. Lmfao.

Spectacular build! You guys are blowing my mind with these builds. Really impressive.

What kind of area would this cover?
Do you have a rough estimate of what this type setup would cost?
Got me on the coverage area @jpcyan2  . Kind of like building a hot rod never sure how fast it will be . I will be using it in a 4x4 tent. I don't remember on the center light cost as i have had it stored for a good while. The elite 360's were right at 700 for the pair ( they have the far red and deep red on the boards). The least expensive part really chapped my ass at the hardware store. 72 dollars for the 3/4" aluminum angle. I said hang on i might need my credit card:LOL:.

@Capt. C are you intending on running both the 515 Sport and the 1310 in separate areas? Asking because it would be interesting to see your same exact grow style under different lights, especially without the CMH.
Yes not changing anything in the existing flower room. The new light is in the 4x4 tent i acquired. Not sure i won't to see the electric bill running both simultaneously so i may alternate. I got it hung in the tent yesterday and fired it up. I need welding goggles in there :ROFLMAO:

Got the beast hung yesterday. She is a bright on. Yes that is a 5 gallon bucket that filter is setting on. I actually had it hung from the ceiling of the tent but once i got it up i started to have serious doughts about the weight of it so i took it down. Glad i did because the light itself has some pretty good weight to it. new light hang BBH1300 002.JPG new light hang BBH1300 003.JPG new light hang BBH1300 005.JPG

Hey bro.. are we talking actual watts?
Stellar build but I just gotta say it.. that’s way too much juice for a 4 x 4 brother.
Are you planning on running it super dimmed for ideal efficiency and such? I’m just curious what your up to. That 515 sport is all a 4x4 needs imo. I run 6-700 watts in a 5x5 generally but for some that a smidge underkill.
In my opinion (I’m aware you never asked my opinion lol) that wattage could easily cover 4x8. 1310w / 32 sqft = 40.9 watts per sqft
If your running everything super efficient dimmed and that’s just the max it’s capable of I get it.. my brain just automatically goes “hey you could grow another 16 sqft!! ???”
Also if you can’t tell..

@Uncle Rom I probably won't crank it all the way and yes they are actual watts. The veg setting on the big light is only 200 watts and i will most likely keep it on that setting when i go into flower. Not sure how far i will crank the 360's maybe somewhere between 200-300 watts each. Will maybe shoot for a total of 600-700 watts. The 550 will stay were she is at as she fits my 3x6 flower room well as i have it on a mover. I see one small problem already on the prototypes of the 360's and a lot of other units have the potentiometer located on top of the unit so that is were i put it. I have numbers on the potentiometer but i can't see them on the top. I should have reversed that so i could see them while looking up at the light.Food for thought for anyone else building something like this. I bet it weights around 40ish pounds

40 lbs isn't too bad, a 1000w HPS XXXL Magnum hood is about 30 lbs. That sucks about the potentiometer, that would drive me nuts. Maybe make some tick marks like braille ? I do all kinda shit by feel especially in tighter spaces that I can't get a good look at.

Sh*t ya man. Real nice work. Glad your trying out those 360 s. I’ve flirted with the idea of gettin some. I sold a few of my 315 cmh s lately and found a home for my 1k hps also. Just haven’t done the deal yet. I only kept the nanolux 315 and a couple small led rigs. Doing Reno’s and such. Might end up moving to a bigger spot. eventually when the time comes I will do a build with either those 360 s or Cree cobs. I sold some fixtures so I could justify spending a grand or so building a baller light or two when the time comes.
