It's late fall here & frosty nights right around the corner I did a trial run with my mini heater it plugs right into my power strip , has a thermostat and timer & 2 speed fan built in it consumes 350w. when running does a great job of maintaining temps during lights out also putting clip on fans near the top of the tent to push warm air down to the plants during lights on the heater plugs strait in to my power strip which has a built in circuit breaker it's cheaper to heat the tent than the entire room each tent has it's own heat source 20211104_193945.jpg 20211104_194121.jpg 20211104_194247.jpg

Love me some Firestone Walker! When I was out in California that was my go to brewer, but I'm not even sure they still make the one I liked. Your picture made me visit their website and none of their beers look familiar now
The 805 is real popular here right now there some local favorites I like better red tail & sierra nevada make some good stuff I've had to cut way back on the beer because of my diabetes it's a special treat when I get one last time it was a mexican dinner with modelo negra

I gave them their first genuine flooding of 1/2 gal for each pot resulting in 1/4"in. runoff this early in the grow you've gotta take care not to oversaturated the media or the plants will go into a droopy funk the purpose of the hose & funnel is to allow me to pour nutrients to the pots on the floor while standing upright this tent is not tall enough to allow me a tub & reservoir the oversize drip pans later n will allow me to flood get a couple inches of runoff which the plants will wick up the following day similar to a hempy bucket & DTW all in one it rained this morning but temp & humidity programming 20211105_095516.jpg 20211105_094446.jpg 20211105_094327.jpg 20211105_094401.jpg 20211105_094425.jpg

BlackBerry bread got their first topping early on I can tell this strain is gonna be aggressive just waiting for them to show sex so I can move forward the large stature of these plants so far re-inforces my decision to scrog a single plant in the 3x3 this is gonna be good 20211106_161139.jpg 20211106_161133.jpg

Looking awesome in here ! So glad u got a new setup going herk ??
Ultimately I'll have this & the 3x3 going perpetual it's all gonna work out the 3x3 I have experienced the 4x2 I've not ever ran I'm treating it like a pair of 2x2 tents combined running 2 plants it's kinda like one plant for each 2x2 area the mars hydro light is a good match for this tent giving me about 37.5 watts per square foot

This light definitely generates enough heat for my veg stage without adding heat by modifying my light schedule woke up this morning to these temps this light generates plenty of heat to veg when I flower I'm gonna have to add heat at that point during 12hrs of darkness in this case my focus is on utilizing on using what I do have instead of worrying about things I dont have I'm getting noticeable growth & starting to feel better about things by the day 20211108_105927.jpg 20211108_105954.jpg 20211108_110000.jpg

I've got new growth where I topped them I've gotta get some styrofoam to get the pots off the floor my canopy temps are fine but suspect the pan bottoms too cool I suspect the cause of the droopiness

M tent sits on a concrete floor & the bottoms of my pots significantly cooler than the canopy which is warmed by the light but the cold from the bottoms of the pots next to the concrete are absorbing cold from the concrete to counter this I've put chunks of styrofoam down & topped them with heatmats to form a thermal barrier & warm the roots a bit this is a temporary fix until I get my floor built overall I'm getting growth daily the smaller plant is waking up & trying to catch up I hope my rate of growth holds steady the will be ready for their second topping soon 20211111_133341.jpg 20211111_174059.jpg 20211111_174147_001.jpg 20211111_174508.jpg 20211111_174514.jpg 20211111_174623.jpg

I've put a fan in the top of the tent to push warm air downwards to the plants I'm gonna take a few temperature readings tonight as things outside cool down if it stays about like they are now I'm not gonna add heat yet I fed tonight as well next feeding I'm gonna u the megacrop to 4gr per gal 20211112_174933.jpg 20211112_190941.jpg 20211112_190956.jpg 20211112_191001.jpg 20211112_191010.jpg

@horribleherk I read you were upping the Megacrop by grams. Do you weigh it out every time you feed by weight? Ive been using it for a few years now, I mix 80 grams into a gallon jug and use it as a concentrate. I start out with 1-2 ounces a gallon for veg and work my way up to 6 ounces depending on how heavy of a feeder Ive got. You can do the math to figure out how many grams each ounce has in it to customize your concentrate. it makes feeding a breeze!

I mix it that way when I'm running a tub & reservoir but for this grow I've only got the 2 plants in 3gal pots so I'm not mixing more than 2 gallons at a time
