You don't necessarily need the thermo/hygrometers, but it definitely makes life easier.
You can get 5 or 6 combo meters small enough to fit in mason jars for about $20 on Amazon...Then another $20 or so for the watch batteries to power them, if they don't come with.
Wherever you dry them, just try to put them in jars when the outside feels dry, and air them out again once the outsides are moist again.
They'll need the most attention / air time the first day or two. After that, you shouldn't have to worry about mold, just letting them get too dry. You'll find your groove- We're just trying to help you find it sooner than later.
At least you've gotten it too dry, rather than too wet.
You can still smoke dry stuff, but you don't wanna smoke bud mold!

Please don't take this the wrong way you may be on it already, I just don't want you putting the cart before the horse.

You should have stuff on hand to deal with cold weather. Stakes, frost blanket, tarp. By my guess you will be pushing Halloween and it will probably snow by then.
Now that I have brother. No offense taken at all bro all advice is welcomed n appreciated!

Curing takes time to get right, and for the most part, I hang plants either trimmed, or with sugar leaves only, depending on the strains (Some trim wet easily, and some don't LOL) but dry trim can be a pain in the ass because you have to get the leaves from around the buds and that can be a pain.

I hang them for a while, and then I start to feel them with my fingers. When the outter layer feels dry.... Actually Mac already said this, but that's when I start checking if they're ready for a jar. If I'm using a Grove Bag, I let them dry a bit more, just to make sure they aren't going to mold up in those but I started off just using a simple snap the stick method because I simply didn't know how else to try LOL.
