??October 2022??

:alert:Rules for Participation in the Contest:alert:
POST A SINGLE PHOTO (1 photo) to serve as your entry. The single photo will be your official entry to this month’s contest and cannot be swapped/changed for another after the fact. Any posts of more than one photo will not be considered for entry and not appear for voting in the final poll.

? Entry must be submitted by the last day of this month to qualify (October 31, 2022).

?Last month’s prize winner will not be eligible to receive this month’s prize pack but the “Paparazzi” badge (win 3 POTM) is still available

? Prizes for this month will be posted as soon as possible

? Your photo must have been taken by you and any feature plant(s) therein grown by you

POTM VOTING
Instead of using a 1 reaction=1 vote system to decide the top three for the final poll, every photo will be featured in the final poll at the end of the month. The photo with the most votes at the conclusion of the poll will be the winner of the POTM Contest for that month and receive the prize (if eligible). Please feel free to like the photos as they are submitted throughout the month, just know that every photo will be featured in the final poll to decide the winner. This new POTM vote system will ensure an equitable voting timeframe, regardless of the entry upload day within the month.

This month’s prize package:

The Original Trim Bin by Harvest More

With harvest season upon us also comes the dreaded (to most of us) Trim Jail. That doesn’t mean you have to do hard time. The Trim Bin has been a great asset to help with this tedious work for many of us. It has contoured arm rests, fits on your lap or table, and a built in kief sifter. As an added bonus, it’s Made in the USA ??!

60mm Teflon Coated Chikimasa-style Trim Scissors by Happy Hydro

Many of you already know my affinity for Chikamasa scissors. The cost of the original Chikamasa brand from Japan can deter people from trying them, and they often opt for the cheaper spring loaded Fiskar-style scissors (can get 3 Fiskars for the price of 1 Chikamasa). The price for this brand is much more affordable, and also comes in a bit less expensive Titanium coating if you don’t need the extra sticky-resistant coating. Although I haven’t personally tried them, hopefully they will be a good alternative to the more expensive original.

I have all kinda Fiskar-type knockoffs and the originals, just for this purpose. Even dollar store has the knockoffs now. I haven't tried the spring cutting trick yet, but haven't needed to cuz once those Chikamasas are clean, it's back to using em. I am gonna get another pair cuz they're so much easier on my (finger) joints.
