So I have been using the same space case for I don't know over 10 years. It gets cleaned maybe once a year in ISO. I saw these grinders on instagram as I wanted to try something new.

Unfortunately, good admins and mods are like referees. Nobody notices or appreciates them the 99% of the time when everything runs smoothly, but they take all the shit when anything goes wrong.
Not only that, you often get so busy with the day-to-day bullshit you don't even get to savor the fruits of your labour. You work your ass off to create a great site that everyone but you gets to enjoy. You just deal with the drudgery and maintenance and with wrestling with how to deal with problematic posts/members.

If any of you were near, I'd take you for lunch and a smoke session, but distance prevents that so please accept my sincere gratitude and best wishes for 2023 and beyond.\

Had to follow @Deebs lead and click on the Phenohunter link for the Odin grinders.

Feel free to laugh, but my daily driver is a plastic Diddy that I won (LMAO) from an Attitude contest many moons ago.

Chose both a ceramic coated aluminum model, and a stainless. Each came w/ accessories, and the case for the stainless is really substantial.

Odin included some stickers, and a complimentary waterproof stash tube. Very nice.

Shipping was real fast - it was truly an easy transaction.

Now the big question: will I like it as much as the plastic grinder? Spacing of teeth seem a little different, but I'll just have to try and see. So far, this is looking good.

This is a good comment and observation. I appreciate this very much. pH Staff does work hard to maintain and improve the site behind the scenes and I am so very grateful for the team we have. All on everyone’s time which is more precious than anything. Thanks @Amarok this post made my day. 2023 will be lit AF and I hope to make it back out to travel to meet more friends.

Does it grind? I took mine out, looked it over, and yes I did notice there was a difference in the # of tines..(don't know what else to call them).

Slapped in a couple nuggets of garlic breath. It effortlessly tore through the nugs, the tines can be sharp!


And low and behold...the grind. I have to say at first I wasn't sure if it would get as fine as I liked. Pleasantly surprised! Great in the volcano and mighty, straight doober too...

So the answer is YES it grinds

Nice color. I def would like to get one. My big question is whether the materials "flake" off at all. How is it pink and does that "pink" flake over time. I got a grinder last year and the materials started flaking over time. No thanks I don't want to smoke that mixed in with my bud.

I've been using a 2 1/2" Millstone grinder for 3 years and no color has been removed. This seems even more colorfast!

My two decade grinder finally gave up the ghost so I decided Id guve Odin a try. Grabbed a 2.5" aluminum job. Havent tried it yet but Im impressed with the overall construction and the case is an awesome surprise bonus!

Only question I have is what are the rubber bands for @Odingrinders? Its probably obvious but I can be a little slow on the uptake sometimes lol
