Odor control for a 4x4 tent

The move might not happen but still considering a 6in vivosun for my 4x4 tent which is in one end of my work shop which is separate from our home I've been growing here for 5yrs. with no hassles but sometimes I can smell it 2 houses down I wouldn't mind toning it down a bit

That's how my outdoor was this year. Could smell it from the stop sign at the other end of my street lol can't scrub the outdoors though. Keeping an eye on this thread as I'm concocting a incognito method for venting my exhaust to outside. Def don't want to be blasting the aroma out in the middle of the winter, can't blame it on the neighbors then

Sounds like it will be a sweet set up my man. Have you checked into the system @Burned Haze speaks of yet . Sounds like a pretty cool setup. Times are a changing. Expensive initial investment but could pay off in the long run. Speaking of that @Burned Haze how much is the replacement bulb for that unit that needs to be replaced yearly ( i think) ?

if you turn it off and only run it for your “ grow cycles” ( that’s what I do) = log the days its running = replace every 365 days or every 1.5 years on airsniper

if it was me, I did the carbon filter thing years after years. But I wanted a more “sterile “ solution. Since filters won’t do that ( even hepa and a filter clogs quickly )

Forget replacing carbon filters and still having mold in the air and virus and nasty air . I say reduce the issues of voc, molds and viruses and odor issues by 99.9%+ with proper tech and no ozone needed. Just yearly replacement and your done ( water , air and light are such a huge factor for your environment that’s why I invested )

even for your drying room, hints why I dry in the same room as my grow room ( controlled humidity and this Tech to kill it) only fda approved and NASA patented

if you got a small tent , they made a “hobbyist version” (NASA supported and FDA approved)

I think per the rate and if bulbs replacement and watts. The air sniper is a better deal. I wish I would of bought a air sniper and if I buy a second unit for my basement . That’s my plan ( but it was be the ultra model since I want more sqft coverage)

its cool that their replacement is every 1.5 years and if you look the airflow vs the airoclean it’s done on per every 10 min vs every hour . stronger baby

Just a follow up post on this product. While it may work well cleaning the air for mold spores this unit is not designed to control odor and most likely not be a good substitute for a carbon filter for odor control. I looked and looked and could not find any claims of odor control on the web site so i contacted them and this was there response.

Actually it does odor reduction , it just wasn’t labeled for it . The rep wouldn’t vouch since they are in Ga and didn’t do the cannabis testing to be able to do such

I know it does do odors in the air control cause before I had to have carbon filter and after this it reduced the smell by 70-90% and I run very heavy and smelly strains like Gmo dominate


Thing is you need no exhaust like me and sealed room for efficiency and the odors are gone ?

Take my words or not , I’m just being honest with you

Plus how can I put a full room (hang dry) of outdoor and within a few hours the smell in that room is smell less when before that it reeked ?

Edit: called air sniper today and asked same question , they said since terps of cannabis can be at such broad ranges in same sqft and concentration , they didn’t want to certify such when their “focus “ was cleaning and sterility of the rooms air. They did confirm just like AiroClean420 it does clean air odors thou
