Read up on the wetting agent.
Want to go back, and touch on the leaf mould. Interesting to me, as I have discovered for myself, the greatest populations of night crawlers is always under the leaf pile.

Neem oil was delayed SO i ordered it from black swallow. Organic alfalfa, kelp meal, neem oil and 4 feet of the fancy soil.

Now im set for a long while...enough to fill all my 3 and 4 gallon pots with what i had before. Now i will make a tote of seedling mix and a tote of up pot mix.

I always l et leaves fall from the plants onto the soil, they are usually rotted in a day or so.
The live soil destroys dead plant materials fast. When i harvest i have a layer of mulch on top of my bags from this.
I never have mold problems.
My soil starts out alive and grows till i transfer it to my outside garden.
Win win

I couldnt stand it...If it was >50 days its in the dryer and will go in the freezer tomorow for hash.

cleaned it wall to wall floor to ceiling with bleach and water...then lysol 99.9 and water and then just water.

Hosed everything down with a wetting agent...then the lights went off. All the big flood and drain trays are going to get power washed out and i will set them up some time later in the week.

These appear to be thrip free Godbuds F3 (Heathen..in the green cubes) ...Rattlesnake Diesel X Black Lights (Schwaggy round 1 gallon) Reverso Welchie (Eso 4 gallon autopot)

I just have the HPS and 1 240 watt board running to cover these plants.

I was looking over a couple of plants in veg and they had a couple thrips...not dozens just a couple but i culled them anyway...suck it thrips you dont live here no more.

Kelp Meal bubbled for 24 hours...addded neem cake bubbled for 24 hours and this was a foliar...i sprayed things down really well then i used the rest for a root drench.

We are getting closer to the other side. i culled it out i have 2 left that i am going to watch for a couple of days.. Everything is clean.

1 tent to harvest out and the super thrippy stuff is GONE ! Aggravating but necessary...it needed to be clean.

I made Jadam Wetting Agent...Goggles and long gloves and a face shield and a wee bit of that pottasium hydroxide got on the top of the glove and burned me 5 little dots...now that is the hottest shit i have. Peroxide is tame compare to lye.

its like thin mayo chilling out for 3 days...then i add water and mix and it sits and then again and then its ready to store and use. It will make 3.5 gallons. 1 gallon of this stuff is 32 dollars from Buildasoil (USD) it was 400grams of pottasium hydroxide. (10.00 CDN amazon free deliver( ..312 of water and 72 fluid oz of canola oil (3.00 Costco).

Lets say 15.00. for 120 dollars worth of the stuff...holy shit that is a GREAT deal. It paid for my goggles and gloves and mixer and i am still at half price. I got enough to do another batch.

JADAM Wetting Agent is a natural surfactant and emulsifier that can be added to your weekly IPM or foliar fertilizer program. It will aid in overall penetration, coverage, and effectiveness of the substances used in your IPM or fertilizer program.

Application Rate: Dilute 1 to 4 ounces per gallon of water. Mix well. Foliar spray on plants or add to your foliar fertilizer program. *Must be foliar sprayed

Ingredients: Filtered water, canola oil, potassium hydroxide

I made 440 oz of that stuff for 15 dollars...and it lasts !!! It keeps FOREVER and gets better with age. The Neem Oil will be here right Tuesday and then its IPM FOREVER !
The big one is an iffy one...Rock Island Rocket and im doing my best to kill them off of her. She is my last bean !!

I released more cucumber flies....that is what the flakes are. Might as well give them the KO.

Rock Island Rocket....I think i am winning !!! REVEG OVER....nice new growth without thrip shit and spit trails !

The others in the 32 special are on day 51...covered in bran from the fly packs (learned a lot about a lot this round )

I would have gave up long ago and pulled everything.
Im knocking on wood, but,,,,,, i have had zero bugs in years.
The main deterrent i use is lots of fans.
In my 8x12x11 room i have 2 large intakes with filters down low on opposing walls.
I have 2 6" exhaust inlines running nonstop and 4 16" oscillating fans running nonstop.
I dont think a bug could land anywhere in my room.
I even run a 6" fan in my 2x2x5 tent lol.
Air constantly moving and exchanging and the organic regiment for the win!

I have decided to go with a different soil approach going forward. I have the soil teaming with nemotoads but for the next batch i am preloading the soil with neem cake slurry and some neem oil.

Neem is an amazing plant. In India it is called the miracle plant. It is an organic fertlizier with a lot of compounds. And the only way to get all of those compounds is to get REAL cold presseed neem oil...from India.

It has a powerful aroma....some people hate it but its kind of pungeant like garlic and onions with a different funk. I know i have smelled it on black market weed before !...i always thought it was a strain flavor !

I am going to get some barley tea going today. Its time for once weekly foliar IPM feedings...suck it ALL BUGS. This with the neem soil drench....

I cleaned out this fat stack of pots...disinfected and rinsed.

Got 4 feet of KIS organic soil and neem oil (and kelp, alfalfa meal to go with the 2 row barley malt and neem cakes, essential oils etc).

Culled out all of bloom. Now tomorrow i will deep clean that room (first i will use a leaf blower to get every inch of it blown out then its top to bottom bleach and water. I will veg out my bloom room to start the NEXT round. These are going to work!

Wetting agent gets the water added tomorrow and i think it worked...i peeked and it is a solid hard lump of soap looking stuff....hooray!

I've read that neem is even used as a toothpaste in India. Not sure if that is more in rural parts but man your breathe would be kicking. Though your mouth would be thoroughly cleaned.

They are great....its a 3500 and that board is a 4k. They are what i have left to veg those things a couple weeks...maybe they will grow at a normal pace again.

These plants are thrip free...it took a long time but i scoped every inch of them. And I sure as hell know what thrips like like now.

I chopped out the 32 special...i had 1 tester in there that did not amount to shit because the Rock Island Rocket DOMINATED.

Even with thrips and suffering they bounced back and were decent in size. I will trim them up in a couple of days and put them in the freezer for a hash run. But i have to do a hash run to make room because its full. Maybe i do that later !

I cleaned all my plants today with a surfactant..no thrips...ANYWHERE. So i continue the assault. Gnats can pound salt too we are moving in the right direction.

I flipped a couple into 12 12 to start the ball rolling. In 7 to 14 days bloom room will be blooming again.

So i never needed rapid rooters...it was a crutch. Seed....soak overnight or until it cracks...poke your finger in the soil in the pot and drop the seed in and so far its working as good or better than rooters did. And the plants just keep trucking.

Lots of variety coming up too. It should be great. These are all above the soil.
