This will be my garden compost heap of new beginnings. A shift away from the unnatural to everything organic.

It took me a while...and a lot of tea but i got there.

I got this book...it changed my life. Not that book....or that other one....this one

The thrips did it for me. My lazy behavior was the opposite of zen. it was the wrong approach.

Weak plants thrust into buds as fast as possible when i have the time....it was a fools errand and i turn the page.

Today i planted plants in live soil for indoors. It smells like mushrooms. i did it in sandals too ! It has BEGUN !

And a massive thank you to @J. James for sharing this resource. It came at precisely the right time for me.

I will keep the coco and weird shit in the tents and in the perpetual journal but i may shift away from it....

I ordered the fixings for JDW..Jadam Wetting Agent. This stuff is what you mix with neem and various other things, alternating weekly to be preventitive with pest control.

Started some beans to start in the spare bedroom until things are in better condition.

Esos Reverse Welchie and Bazooka Blast
3Thirteen Purple Primate
And some regs
County Line Genetics Tester---Conquenbouche. (Vanilla Cream Cake)
HeathenInc Starfighter F6
Schwaggys HAOG

That is it for the month of November...Next Bean Drop DECEMBER 1....

It is funny i was so resistant to rockwool because it is as biodegardable as a plastic bottle. But the nutrients i used were in effect worse on the environment than rockwool.

Today i am stocking up on super soil, amendments and some of those cool 2 litre square pots. I will also try direct seed planting into a 2 litre pot without rooters. I be they grow faster ! I dont want to stress them out anymore.

Thrips make your plants herm....geeze no doubt eh. I kept some of the tiger stripiest of the frootiust stuff in a cup.... twinkle tarts, purple dream, lemon tree punch...all crossed with who knows what but im leaning purple dream. These will be the outdoor scatter next year. Because i have tested beans to run.

This coming weekend i can start making Jadam Wetting Agent and then i am really off to the races.

Foliar sprays...WOW that makes your plants go BOOM!

Many of you already know this stuff....but i thought i had a handle on things until thrips showed me pride is what comes before the fall. Learning is good.

Just imagine....my indoor plants will look as healthy as my outdoor plants did.... MIND BLOWN!!!!!

Organic off to a head start
25 pound sacks of organic top dress fertilizer with the teas...i think this will work and it should last me for a long time.
I put 21 gallons of BlueEarth super soil in the tote with 2 1/2 gallons of perlite to fluff it up a bit more.
Neem Cake (Right in Brantford Ontario BEST price BEST quality cold pressed from seed) They sell oil and cake and all kinds of soil ammendments with their fancy 22 bucks a foot soil. I will probably go grab a few feet of it to give it a go on the next run. ITs slightly more expensive than this Blue Sky which is pretty good stuff.
Kelp Meal and Pilsner Malt for teas and my neem oil is on the way...i found the Brantford place after and they shipped yesterday i got it today! At least i can start a good neem drench going with all these bubblers i dont use :D

The soil in the 27 gallon tote. I put in 8 bags of nemotoads to get moving around just in case a stray gets trying to lay an egg or something. In a week this stuff will be teaming with nemotoads too.

The plants in this tent were thrip damaged bad...day 51 and showing ambers in puny buds. I am going to dry it 1 day and freeze it for a hash run.

I cleaned out the tent and moved these here from veg. I will top dress all 3 with soil after the nemotoads have a chance to build up.

Sprayed with insecticidal soap.. Kelp-Neem foliar spray has started. Kelp meal is in a 5 gallon water bottle with a bubbler until tomorrow. Then i will add the neem pellets for 24 and then its getting used.
The spray has pottasium silicate in it. Plant food that repels bugs what an idea.

I got a 2 litre mondi sprayer...it was pricy but good tools are worth the investment. The spray nozzle is industrial and the adjustments so precise i was able to turn it down with water and spray fresh soil and not move a bit of it...just gently water the top.

I made the bug soap and hosed em down and this is the sprayer to wet things with...what great coverage!

IMG_2711.JPG
I cant find thrips on them...no more trails or thrip spit either.
IMG_2712.JPG

And the ones in bloom are looking a lot better. I harvested out a tent. I might chop 3 more or wait until tomorrow.

so far the best thrip trap is water....2 to 3 drops dish soap and a slug of vanilla...mix it up and then sink to their doom..in big numbers too like how many stick to a trap.
