Man I cant wait to see if ya catch a good cookies kush pheno..I've been kicking myself for not running any of those yet..I swear that Cookies kush pheno I had , If it wasn't thee actual best and most vigorous plant I've ever ran in my life it was damn close..So much I want to run but ya know how it is...Can't run 10k at once
I had a standout male (nose) in veg no. 7 and at some point late in the sensi flower run I chose 3 females to make seeds with. Unfortunately 2 of those exhibeted some what I consider less desireable flower structure that was found after finishing the sensi crop so I've put those beans on hold. These are from the no.9 female Sour Bubble 97. The same male was used on gg4 for the Gorilla Bubble repro.
Comin back for seconds. Was tight race between those and the CnC f3.
One of yours is up so far same for CKRB and CnC after 7 days from direct sow. Sitting at about 50% with germination, only no show is Jimmie but i think that will resolve soon, if not I'll repop those and the ckrb and CnC if more don't show by next weekend.Look forward to following along
Overall 25/40, not horrible, one CnC f3 dampened off.The GB were from the plant that was just starting to flower when I pulled the male, seed quality was off the charts.
I may cull back some of the SB (runty and/or wonky leaves) before repopping. Hit each hole without a sprout with some peroxide.

There was also a "Bubba" pheno, which I took to be something that I wouldn't wanna trim, lol. So I went with "purple".
I might test some pollen that's in storage but I don't think I'll be able to pick a SB to continue with without sampling the flower first. Plan is to bx to the male. Kinda itchin' to make some beans since I didn't make any outdoor this year, but no plan for chucking this round.

Don't let the Bubba name discourage you. Easy as any other to trim. It just had the big round Bubba like colas.
I used it as a nickname. I sort of forgot that Bubba was known for being leafy and a pain to trim...

Thursday is 70 days but these gg4 are ready now.
Gonna change the ventilation to negative pressure and implement some stuff I learned/was exposed to at the BAS cup (I may also start using primarily rosin instead of smoking flower). One is sunrise sunset with lighting and temperature. Particularly temps at sunset, the way I manage them currently is a stressor to the plant, I drop them too quickly. Even though that is what the temps do here, I shouldn't be mimicking my local conditions so closely for that because the plant does not perpetuate here naturally. Hoping the sunrise sunset programs on the 69pro can do a smoother transition than just the 1-10 whole number settings.
It was pretty cool the way the top rosin makers geeked out on quality of flower and the way their brains generally worked it makes sense. They tended towards just taking everything I do in focusing on flower to another level. Don't worry when I show up with a freeze dryer and cold plates,

Gonna re-install the soaker hoses and I think I'll stick with a single 5" carrot sensor, and 1-2 drippers per plant. I may switch to individual carrits and drippers for the plants but would like to keep the number of moving parts as low as possible.

Wash, 220, 160, 120, 45, 25 I am gonna try to do both a live and tradition hash run. Most of the gg4 is already in the freezer, I'm gonna take a few more colas then run it. I am also rehumidify a bunch of old weed so I can practice with the press when it gets here. It will also help keep the debris down for the bulk of ir will go into the freezer for the traditional run.
Gonna air dry on a screen - old 190 bag cut and placed on a "frame" with binder clips. I should be able to get my farage down as low as I want during the bubble hash runs and keep it 45-50 with a super low rh for the drying. I just need to get the outdoor processed and packaged for homogonization and decide what of that I wanna use in the hash as well.

I coulda washed that fresh frozen more and probably the regular hash too. I was guessing 20 quarters went into the fresh frozen, I didn't buck it down enough and had to quickly get the bigger sticks out. I don't think my returns are gonna be in the stellar range and I definitely can improve with just a few tweaks. Think that was only my 2nd try at ff.
I'll get a beefier pump and proper sprayhead for washing and have more cold water on hand next time. Idk when I'll do ff again, kinda depends how this turns out I guess

Everything was dry enough I could easily hand press without any evidence of excess water. Definitely not a purist, mixed the 160 live (~2g) and regular (4-5g) and put the 25 in for good measure. Based on my rough estimates I hit over 4% on return for the live.
Fed super K fulvate @1/4 strengh (0.5g/gal) for the seedlings first. I tried transplanting a couple days ago and almost lost a Gorilla Bubble so figured it wasn't worth it and I'll wait another week or two. Might only get one run in this winter so might as well make it a gooder.

This is actually the 120 live, 160 regular and 25 that was left in for both runs. There wasn't any live to speak of in the 160.
Well, I'm on day 4 of vaping rosin, no smoking. I do like how I feel in general and my smoking/consuming area is cleaner. Trying a little (~2x what I'd put in the peak) on my scone this morning, maybe 100mg or a little less? Might be a bit hot and long on the decarb but figure its worth a shot and next time I can drop the glob on part way through.
Seedlings are in rough shape, didn't like the feed I gave 'em, luckilly the 2x Gorilla Bubble I transplanted are fine, just everything in starter cells was poisoned. Either gonna have to deal with yellow cotys or figure out abetter workable seedling feed. Considering starting over, while not watering them lol.

Time to take a hard look at the seedlings. Waiting for them to recover will probably take longer than starting fresh. Luckilly the propagation tent is double decker so I don't have cull them just yet. The 2x gb that got transplanted are fine and some of the smallest seedlings are just stalled. I just lost a month is all, no need to rush and fuck up worse.
Well, I won't be using the peak for that again, what a pita to clean out.
