Im in it to win it this year. In not fucking around. 3 gallon fabric pots with 1/2 cocoa 1/2 soil. They exploded out of said pots to reach the subsoil supersool surrounding the half buried pots.
This is to help with drainage in spring and fall enviroments. Its a low lying area along a fence line. Great sun. Little air movement and wthe water runs to that spot. In drought conditons its ideal. Not I'm september when shit counts. Year 4 same spot.

Not a great year. Very wet June. This year is nuts 84 today. 87 a couple wks back. Bad for indo. Great for outie!! Mine been outside in pots since 3rd week in may. A new one for me!
They were busying out of the pots last week. So I buried em. The final planting in pots gives me time to plant in the beginning and a way for them to dry out under less than optimally conditions
