Reversal here basically means a method all those "feminized" seeds are from in all the seedbanks??? Or is it a different method? Spray some silver liquid and force the plant to hermie, kinda, right? I am so clueless.. (why have all the forums for decades been full of "oh, it is hermie prone strain.." etc, if that is a way to make seeds.?? ) Me not undelstand.

Hey Dank, in a nut shell a *Reversal* means to spray STS or CS on a female plant to block the plants natural ethylene production and force the female plant to produce only male parts during flower. Once fully reversed and flowered with male parts, it will produce pollen that will make feminized seeds from whatever female it is used on. This method is not induced by stress, but by chemical hormones being inhibited inside of the plant. Totally different than the practice of stressing a plant to the point of showing some male parts. The stress method is how fem seeds were first introduced to the industry decades ago, but is no longer practiced (at least by anyone with any knowledge) since CS and STS get the job done in a totally different and far less stressful manner. If a feminized plant from seed shows intersex traits, the traits were there from one (or both) of the parent stock before anything was ever even reversed. The STS or CS method will not pass along or add any more "hermie" traits than what was already there prior to the STS or CS application. Some strains pair well and others just simply dont. A Punnett Square can aid in refining a breeders ultimate end goal and help create strains that dont carry a high percentage of undesireable traits like intersexing etc. Hope this helps clear up some of your confusion. Any further explaining Id need a few more pages of Frims journal lol (sorry @Frimpong )

Many thanks Red for taking the time to clear this up for me. Sounds like a solid system to me, watching this experiment with a keen interest. (sorry @Frimpong for sidetracking your thread..)

Yeeeeah....while smoking, I'm not seeing much reason for my pheno of PBB to stick around very long, honestly.
Generic cookie/doughy/slightly peanut butter taste... But nothing to get hard over lol
I'll still likely fem it to other stuff, just for shits and giggles, and hype, but I'd still rather lean to the Chem or OG side of the gene pool for winners.

Good luck on winners though- if anyone here can bring the frost, you can,!

Haven't been this excited in a while. First time making fem . Using a legit cut and have three perfect ladies just waiting to get hit.

Hell, Im excited for you brother! Just a heads up, reversal pollen can sometimes be a little tricky to collect vs. that of a true male plant. The copious pollen dumps like that of a regular male shouldnt be fully anticipated w/ a reversal. You may have to manually collect depending on the plant.
