Any thoughts of merch that isn't direct phenohunter.org stuff?
That may sound goofy, but hear me out.

While I'm down with supporting the site(and am due to pony up again), I don't really want anybody in my tiny little meatspace world coming here and learning about my shit. My PH logo shirt is saved for trips to the city or sadly, is worn as an undershirt.

Now a shirt with one of our breeder's/chucker's logos as the feature, with a more discreet pH logo on the sleeve or something, could be sweet. Seems like these on-demand producers could make that a reality.

I'm picturing @Frimpong 's or @Dino Party 's (or one of the many other:mariofireball:here) logo on the chest or breast. This would make available a very broad and cool range of merch options and could boost the profile of the various seed sellers(presuming they were on board).

Just a thought...

We typically look for work that displays some combination of concept, originality, execution/technique, relevance to modern design trends, and of course marketability (either to a small niche or a wider audience). Hope this provides some clarification.

We’re continuing to explore other options. You might see some more things being released occasionally into the field, but I really wanna establish smth like a storefront to make it easy for everyone involved, from buying/selling to the actual management of inventory and expenses.

F..k me, I can't even begin to count the number of entities who have blown me off since the covid started. So what I'm hearing is, we have too much fuckin' money, and we'd rather just do nothing and get paid for it??? I guess when we find a good supplier, we need to invite them in and make certain they understand, we will continue to do business with them for the long term if they will simply satisfy our needs!

Cheap suppliers will always have just that - cheap quality, cheap customer service. Not saying Cotton Bureau is cheap, just mentioning that I refuse to do biz w someone who just wants to make a quick buck or doesn’t believe in our cause. I want quality and, to your point, establish rapport with a supplier for this kind of thing. I have a supplier that does everything I need them to except for providing an acceptable print on dark garments. It definitely isn’t cheap by any means, in fact it’s the most expensive service of its kind out there, and likely for good reason. I just can’t justify the cost because when all’s said and done, the price point of a shirt or hat would barely be break even if that. I keep them around for occasional times like contests and whatnot. Everything sent out so far has been out of pocket, and the shirts that were first sold a while back were just a tiny bit over break even cost. It definitely didn’t cover time and labor not just for me but others as well. I’m not saying we wanna make a big profit pushing merch it’s mostly the time and effort that’s put into it that is typically not taken into consideration by most ppl, including myself. If we find the right combo of these aspects, it’ll be full speed ahead. I don’t even have any shirts for myself, and I’m absolutely dying to represent our home. At least I still have one of the original hats but it barely fits my pinche camóte of a head ? It’ll come sooner rather than later, I can feel it. Thanks everyone for your understanding and patience, it’ll be worth the wait.
