Plant tissue Culture

This is some what new and is the future of clonning - plant tissue culture is gaining traction as a method to capture outstanding genetics - previously employed only by large corporationd - with the right equipment home growers can also do this - - small scale home based tissue culture isn't too difficulte with some general lab tools, sterile equipment and a little bit of kowledge here is what one needs:
Growth hormones(from leaf, shoots or roots) _ washing area and culture area - sounds scientific but easy (ref"Maxium Yield Cannabis" (Nov/Dec issue) food for thought ??? !!!!!!!!!!!
Lets face it some cltivators are like "mad" scientist mixing , mixing and mixing (was one myself) but over the years "simple and easy is the answer" "Keep it Simple"
Equipment needed:
PH meter
Scale (w/two decimal places)
glass containers
plastic containers
glasswere (beakers, flask
pippettes
autoclave
gelling agent
nutrient media

Taking clones off mother plant is a whole loot easier !!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's a bit tricky -within the last few years this has come about -- to better ubnderstand it instead of me explaining best to reference article mentioned - there is mush on the net about this - it would work well for a pheno hunter that gets good genetics and don't want to loose them and get "true" genetics without pollation, or clonning ect Tissue culture is what they use in space so it must work

I got old school ny city haze, blue berry, b3, and other beans from way back in the day I’m looking to crack and haven’t made the move to try yet cause I don’t want to ruin my only chance at getting all my old school genetics back. Theyre from about twenty- years ago. Some are outdoor strains from local growers that grew their strains for who knows how long before me.

Close but not quite. This is simply sterile germination. Many old seeds just cannot make it past that old dried, damaged husk. True tissue culture is embryo rescue and involves removing the embryo from the sterile seed husk and placing it directly into a sterile vessel with seed media in it. Bill is a good guy and extremely knowledgeable. He brought kits to the public and I applaud him for that since it makes TC quite a bit more accessible

These videos helped explain some of the process for me when I started the journey. Currently, I am designing a new clean room/culture room at the new place to really start the learning process, cause Im still a newb. Been a long time coming.
