If you can work from home or have a monthly income....
And don't mind the cold
I bet 90 grand buys the land
160 g's to get you into a house
250 grand you're looking good
That's under 2g's a acre with a house
No lie, seen 'em. We've been looking for 3-4 yrs now. Farm house fixer upper on 30-50 acres, 24/7 365 stream, pond and a well, $200-300k. We could do most of the work on the house and put in geothermal air/heat and heat the greenhouses too. We could also generate electricity in the stream. It's all doable with enough $ and minds are changing on legalization. We still got our youngest (23) with us and he's a good kid, works, buys his car/ins stuff he wants so mama don't want to go until he's on his own. We'll see. It's a dream of mine, hunting and fishing on my own property.

If you wanna make a Maine-iac real mad tell them you just moved there from California and feel like a real Mainer now.

Also tell them Whoopi Pies are from Pennsylvania, Moxie sucks and the house prices in Maine are super reasonable. They'll love you.

Moxie is disgusting, all my grandma drank growing up and she kept them cool in the basement so they were never cold lol . Making me gag just thinking about it

This summer was great for outdoors in Michigan. Our “wet season” which is late September into October held off until late October this year. Usually, we have to either tarp off or cover plants for the last two weeks due to the wet and cold. Last year, one of my buddies had ice on his buds in the early morning! That’s just on the west side of the state though.
I am currently looking for property in the upper peninsula of Michigan. Land is cheap up there and for the most part, it is desolate. Would like to see how plants do outdoors up there. But I also want to move to Colorado just for the scenery!
